The food is good, if you're willing to wait a long time to get it (two hours for two people). This is the sentiment shared in many other reviews, and I experienced it myself tonight. The unfortunate part is that it's not because they were busy (there were only two other tables there), just from lacking any efficiency or urgency. Yes, the food tasted good but lackluster service is their downfall. My wife ordered a fruity drink, very weak on the alchohol. I ordered an iced matcha tea, and again they chose to skimp with culinary grade matcha (which anyone who knows matcha can easily tell). Our order consisted of an appetizer (samosas), and two entrees (pineapple fried rice, and wok fried veggies with tofu). A 30 minute wait after ordering, the samosas were delivered along with one entree. The other entree came out 10 minutes later. The food was quite tasty, it was cooked well and had good flavor. Fried bananas dessert was very good. The owner was there and she was quite nice, speaking to us a few times as she helped out in the dining area. There was only one girl serving, which might not have been an issue for someone experienced but it seemed like it was her first day waiting tables. My overall impression is that ordering food to-go or perhaps delivery through a service is the way to go if you want to eat here - they still have some business efficiencies to figure out when it comes to operating dine-in. The food alone didn't provide enough value to justify a $100 check.

Was really excited to tri this place given that we came up from Granger ~ 1 hr drive. We get there and hosted said 30min wait due to there being reservations. There were 3 empty tables and I suggested if our party could sit in the corner one, she had to call her manager to confirm. We get the table. Very nice drink menu definitely something different but prices were giving city prices. Haven't seen a $15 cocktail in tricities before. Alright so we order, very nice waiter. Place was not too busy or packed. After a bit of wait they bring half our food out. Half our party began eating while the other half waited for there food to arrive. 45 minutes later the rest of the food didn't come out yet. Turns out the waiter never put the order in.. okay. Yikes. We ended up being there for over 2 hours waiting for dinner. Honestly not going to completely bash on this place. It's new and seems to need some reorganization of staff and management I get it. But cmon how do u forget to put in half an order, still only bring our food for half the people , and not question if anyone else is missing something ? This place is Definitely not worth the wait or time. Food was mid a solid 4/10. I am no food critic but it definitely lacked flavor. Interior was interesting definitely a hole in the wall. It's a cute place if your eating solo but def wouldn't come in a group of 4 or more.

I have eaten here four times with mixed results. The first experience had good Yakisoba, good pudthai and coconut shrimp. My margarita was well made not weak ond not overdone, and the bartender asked if I wanted salt. Service was good and they paid attention to my elderly mother. The second and third time were pretty much the same, pleasant waite staff and good hot food. The most recent visit was a disaster. While everyone has an off day, this time everyone had one. When I asked the bar tender for a paloma, all I got was " we don't have grapefruit" and a blank stare with a pinch of attitude. I asked for a mezcal margarita and the bartender walked away without a word. She came back with the drink and set it on the table almost with her back to the table. Not impressed with a margarita with iodized table salt on the rim served with attitude. The pot stickers were good with a nice garnish and would have been great if they were hot, not lukewarm, same with the coconut shrimp. We also ordered the Crying Tiger, (see photos) The only thing to cry about there was the amount og gristle and fat served. Considering there were only two tables occupied and six customers, they could have had a little time to make it an exceptional experience. Only One bad experience out of four, but a complete fail in my book.

My husband and I love Soi 705! It is easily our favorite restaurant in the Tri-Cities. We come here as often as we can and love the rotating menu, as it allows us to try new dishes we never would try otherwise. If you have large parties of more than 4, make a reservation! And if you are coming on a weekend, I suggest getting a reservation because it can get crowded. However, you don't necessarily need one if you don't mind sitting at the bar.

If you don't know what to get, here are some of my favorites and must eats:

Apps/Small Plates: Cucumber salad - super refreshing! a great companion to the meal Cheese puffs - imagine the best cream cheese crab wonton you have had with a bomb dipping sauce Malaysia Meatballs- so good. the bbq sauce they are in is amazing. Crying Tiger - this steak is so yummy. Can be spicy, but its so yummy with the veggies/cucumber on the side. Korean Hot Dogs - they usually give you multiple different flavors of hot dogs when your order, and they are all soooo good. highly recommend if you have never had one!

Entrees: Duck Fried Rice - best fried rice I've had in the area Ramen - sort of a fusion broth. Tastes like their meatballs + so so yummy in the winter. Curry of the day - can never go wrong!

They also have great mocktails, Thai iced tea and iced matcha.

This place is a small staffed local place, so be patient with them if it is a busy night. All of the staff are so wonderful and kind and we will continue to come back and see what they are...
