The worst experience that I've ever had with retails. I placed a big order for a meeting at work using Dunkin Donuts app. at 7 am. After I drove all the way to their store to pick up my order, they told me that there was a problem with their supplier and they don’t have any donuts today. All their shelves were empty. I asked them for the refund for the money that I had paid, they told me that I have to contact their customer service for refund since the transaction was online. I contacted Dunkin Donut customer service right away and after being on hold for 20 minutes and being transferred from one department to another one, they told me that the specific Dunkin donut store has a private owner and they have to contact them and ask them to arrange my refund. They asked me to give them 2 business days to contact me. I waited for two business days and no one contacted me about my refund. I called the customer service again to follow up and they again told me that they have notified the owner but again give them another 2 more business days! Long story short It's been a week and I was unable to get the refund that I've paid for the donuts that they didnt have!! Not only they ruined my plan for the day with not being able to provide the merchandise (a donut shop with NO donuts!), but also I had to spend time and energy to get my money back and still don’t have it! Read moreDoor was locked upon arrival even though they were open for business with guests inside. A patron opened the door for us. Cashier appeared to have limited English language skills and didn't understand what we were ordering. No one unlocked the door for about 10 minutes and guests had to let customers in. The ceiling was leaking on the heads of people in line. No one mopped up the water and a caution sign wasn't put down until after a customer demanded someone do so. Our orders were wrong and had to be redone. Finally, the food selections (including donuts) were either stale and/or prepared poorly (e.g., not thoroughly heated, sloppy construction). The workers seemed sincere, personable and wanting to help but not properly and/or fully prepared to be on the floor without the presence of a more seasoned worker/s or manager. Worse food and service I can recall at a Dunkin' (and I've had both on occasion). Seems that St. Louis is not a Dunkin' town. We were hard-pressed to find one in the Metro area -- big difference from Chicago where there is one almost every few blocks ... even in more...
Read moreI come here all the time about 2-3 times a week and it’s usually great but today was ridiculous. We ordered a large iced coffee, 2 donuts, 1 sausage egg and cheese croissant and 2 turkey sausage egg and cheese croissants. We placed the order at exactly 11am as it says on my receipt. In 10 minutes we got 2 sausage egg and cheese croissants no turkey sausage croissants. Told them politely that the cashier misheard and we actually wanted 3 sandwiches total. 2 of them being turkey sausage and 1 regular sausage. Should of been a quick fix I thought. They preceded to serve everyone else who came in after us (group of 4, group of 2, group of 4, and another lady) we waited until 11:31 to receive our replacement sandwiches. I thought this was extremely ridiculous and because of this ended up being late to my work. I feel like they should of fixed our order and made our sandwiches first instead of making us wait that long....
