If you ever want a place to go to that is warm, welcoming with open arms, no discrimination, ♡︎AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE♡︎, great quality food and an excellent choice off of the menu, this is your hometown cafe! I love this place, and I have been going here for a little over a year now. I’ve never had any problems, and my food and service has always been absolutely astonishing. The owners of this establishment are very very nice and successful! I love you all of the staff & thank you so much for staying around in RVA! They are also very personal with the regulars and will remember your name and face.
2024 update: After seeing this place being closed for the past year or two, I stopped in today to see they were open again! The man who runs the business told me how he was very sick and he had to take a break due to being hospitalized and on dialysis. God is good, God heals and he has healed you! He is amazing. Your business is thriving, I hope that your health continues to improve. This place is a staple in RVA, if you haven’t been here, you need to come and just give them a chance! I promise you’ll make this your...
Read moreThis occurred Saturday, July 7, 2018. The cafe opens at 8am. My sister and I arrived at 8:30am. Neither the barista or the owner greeted us, despite us saying hello and good morning to the barista he twice. The counter areas by the windows where we sat to eat had crumbs on them, there were no cups for water, the bathroom trash can was completely full, and when my sister ask for a knife, the owner who was cooking chuckled and said, "Sorry I only had one knife left that I gave to her (meaning me)". All of this, as well as clutter (e.g., items like unplugged power chargers on the floor) in the cafe, shows that the establishment is not cleaned the night before nor prepped for the next day. Also, even though we were the only ones waiting on drinks, our drinks, a cappuccino and a chai tea latte, took a while because the barista decided to make herself a drink first before making ours. The sandwiches we ordered did have a good taste, but all of the other aspects of running a business are important too. The owner and staff need to improve the aforementioned if the business is to be successful in...
Read moreSo I did my random °•laptop•° HoPpin (yes, that's what I can it) and Brewers Cafe popped up as one of the places I could go to. It had plenty of Stars, wifi, and pics of people doing some work/studying. Perfect!! So I Google mapped it, and off I went! As I was coming up to the building, I thought it was nice that it was in the City, yet more on the outskirts, so it was a bit more quite. However, as soon as I walked in, my mild excitement went from 8-1 (1-10). Call me a sardine that got lucky and escaped bc the place was very small and packed with people! I had to squeeze my way out! The vibe seemed okay, but tight, tight, tight! And for a first timer, I was happy to just go somewhere else. If they could expand it in the future... 4-5 Stars from me. Just being honest, and do not mean to offend any of y'all that just Luuuuv the place. What works for some, does not work for others! And I have actually been packed love a sardine in another coffee shop, yet the layout of the floorplan just worked for it!! Much ❤️ Nichole...
