September 6th 2021, I went to Cafe Synai while visiting RVA at VCU on business. I was pleasantly surprised at the location and how DELICIOUS the food is! OMG! Thank God For JESUS! The Lord Blessed that woman!!! The owner of Cafe Synai has such a warm and pleasant spirit. I ordered the Turkey Sandwich, The Salmon sandwich, 2 cheesecake cupcakes (one with strawberries and one plain). I also ordered a Banana pudding and a Strawberry Banana Smoothie! When people use the term "That Was Everything"! Cafe Synai food and drinks are EVERYTHING!!!!! When ever I visit Richmond Virginia, I will Always visit Cafe Synai!!!!! The food is worth it!!!! You go Girl! Black Girl Rocks! Keep up the great work!!! By the way, I ATE ALL that Food in 24 hours or less!! Lol lol.

Very happy I came across this place and completely by chance!! I don’t usually leave food reviews but I loved how warm and welcoming the owner and staff were. I had the Honey Glaze Salmon Panini and the coconut pie. The panini was delicious: I loved the bread that was used and the salmon was not dry. And the glaze on the side, was too good— I honestly should’ve asked for more. As for the pie, I have a huge sweet tooth so I loved it but I can see how for someone else (like my mom), it might be too sweet but the texture and crust were perfect. Next time, I’m gonna save a slice to chill it for a warm day. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and can see how much love and care is put into the food and knowing the people who stop by. I will be back, trust!!

We went there in 2021 when the pandemic still kept us social distance. Exploring Richmond my famiky and I encounter this place. This is a gem place hidden in Richmond. Beginning with the professionalism of the owner, her friendly personality, and her knowledge and passion for cooking. You can taste her love for what she does on every bite. And mind behind the scene. It was such a pleasure my family and I met you.

We were puttering around Jackson Ward, when my cranky teen asked to pop into Cafe Synai. Super cute place and we were greeted like we were old friends. Teen got a chocolate cake jar and it was everything. As my grandmother used to say "Thank God for Jesus" because the cake jar had her smiling from ear to ear. Like it was the best thing she'd had all trip. What makes it better is the owner being super friendly and informative. We had a lovely chat while the cake jar was demolished. Too bad the sweet potato pie was still in the oven. Guess we'll have to go back. Add to our...
