City Diner offers an experience that feels like a home away from home. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, combined with attentive service, makes dining here a truly pleasant experience. From the moment you step in, you’re greeted with a friendly smile and the aroma of comforting, classic diner fare. The menu at City Diner is filled with delicious options that cater to every taste, whether you’re in the mood for breakfast or lunch. The portions are generous, and the food consistently tastes fresh and satisfying. It’s the kind of place where you can find everything from a perfectly cooked omelet to a rich, indulgent milkshake. Overall, City Diner combines excellent service with a cozy, down-to-earth ambiance that keeps you coming back. It’s a gem for anyone looking for a place that feels as warm and inviting as their own kitchen.

I was honestly a bit disappointed with this place because of how positive the reviews are. The prices have gone up dramatically over the years (I could have gone to a much nicer place in the area for the same price), it’s super noisy, and the food was good but not great. I got the fish (catfish) and chips, and I feel like I honestly didn’t get that much food. Normally places give you a ton of fries, but I only got a handful, and the catfish kept on falling apart in the sauce. It was also very bready. It looks like a lot when you get it, but it’s honestly not a lot. My waitress was very nice though, and the service was pretty on par. I was really happy about the speed of the food and the free parking though! It just was an eh experience overall. I won’t be back.

Horrible customer service, racism. The food quality was poor for my baby and I asked to exchange it and the lady said , what you want me waste our money, food was already cooked so it can't be exchange. She said im not replacing the food and. Waste my money. THE WHITE LADY AT THE REGISTAR WAS VERY NASTY and the waitress i called her 5 time she ignored me and i then raises my voice louder and she acted as if she didnt hear me and it took me approaching someone else to respond and i thank God i know Jesus because baby .When I said the worst service I mean it and I will never eat at this place ever again spent 110 dollars for trash. I DONT RECCOMMEND NO ONE GO HERE , THERE RACISM AND THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS STRAIGHT TRASH.

Currently at city diner waiting for the police to arrive me and my wife were in here eating breakfast at approximately 12-1230 we paid for are meal at the front like we always do there was a older women of American descent with light red hair who rung and cashed us out as she handed my wife receipt to fill out at that time she either put my wife’s credit card on the counter or didn’t give the card back at all. We left the restaurant and got about 10 minutes away and my wife says omg someone is making purchases on my card from SHEIN clothing website! We immediately called Wells Fargo to inform them of fraudulence. I turned around and headed back to city diner when we came in and walked up to the lady at register my wife asked did she leave her card the lady stated yes you left it here I put it in the draw for you, let me tell you this lady thought she seen a ghost from seeing us again and was badly shaking my wife proceeded to ask her did you make purchases on my card she of course said no huh what are you talking about, I then got the manager the lady who is American descent with blonde hair older women whose worked here for years says I’m the manager I explain to her what happened the lady at the register then changes her story and said I told them someone gave it to me that found it. The manager did not care not one bit so I called the police to file an active report the police have arrived now and turns out the owners here he doesn’t say one word to us comes clout with an attitude to the cops this place has great food but has now turned into somewhere that employees will commit fraud and larceny using your card please be aware! Going to press this issue as hard as we can the camera never lie and they have one directly at the register.

**update owner who is a tall American man who has not spoken to us offered an apology or anything has told the police officer that there camera does not work. We have filed a police report for the fraudulent purchases and a claim with card company. The owner spoke with the officer inside did not come back out acknowledge, apologize for the situation occurring nothing it’s unbelievable after me and my wife just spent 39 on breakfast and tipped anether $8 to are waitress who was the “manager” that did not try to help with fraud situation at all. Also the lady lied to the police and said we wete confrontational(we did not curse, scream, threat) just frustratingly explained what happen! I’m going to make it my mission in Persecuting this to the furthest extent and possibly getting a lawyer for...

I had a terrible experience at this diner today, despite having visited multiple times without any issues before. The manager I encountered was incredibly disrespectful and passive-aggressive when I asked if we could sit down and wait for one more person from our party. For your information, the other person had told us to go inside and get a table while they parked, as finding city parking is difficult. The manager flatly told me, "No." When I asked her why, she responded in a condescending tone, saying that there were other people waiting and she was too busy to accommodate us.

Our conversation continued, and it felt as though she was treating me as if I couldn’t comprehend basic concepts. Frustrated, I decided to walk away. When the rest of my party arrived, I began to explain the situation to them, only for her to point at us and ask, “Is this the other person in your party?” as if we were incapable of understanding her. This led to more back-and-forth discussion, and I ultimately chose to leave.

What stood out to me most was not just the refusal to seat us immediately, but the way she spoke to me—as if I lacked intelligence. As a paying customer, I should never have to endure that kind of treatment. My question about why we couldn’t sit was met with unnecessary defensiveness. I remained calm and didn't resort to insults, merely pointing out her passive-aggressive behavior.

It’s disheartening to witness such behavior, especially when it seems rooted in racism, particularly toward people of color. Given this experience, I will not be returning to this diner...

I have come in this facility many times as a happy paying customer who gives good tips. Today I came in with my son and his daughter. For a great meal. I was highly disappointed in the staff. One my granddaughter was crying because she didn’t get her way nothing out of the ordinary for a 4 year old kid. The waitress whom has served me many times made a face of dissatisfaction then the other waitress also who has served me many times before came over and asked if we could take my granddaughter outside because she was distributing the customers. Mind you the customers where louder then she was. After being made felt like we where a problem I simply told my son to comfort her outside. But he never returned. So the customers who sat across from us said sorry she was not a bother nor was she loud as it is in here daily and she was no louder then any other kid who has cried. I said thank you. My son is a great dad. He gets his daughter every other week and she is spoiled. He and his wife said and he is very patient I said yes he is. All in all and I know they don’t care but I will take my money else where. Not to mention Better customer service would have been to offer to seat us on the patio or simply not said a word. But all in all it was the delivery 📦 of what she communicated. Only to then whisper about as if no one heard them making fun of the situation. Your food was good but not that good. Handle things better. Or maybe u handled according to who you deal with I don’t know but do...
