I would like to start by saying that I have only ordered from this place once before this experience. The first time was wonderful. The food was delicious and even though it was to go, the server was wonderful. This is the reason why I had hyped them up to my coworkers. So, my lunch is very early in the day and this location stated that they opened at 11 am. So it was perfect for what I needed and wanted for lunch. It started off a little off because I ordered directly from the link on their website and it said that I would get $5 off for my birthday this month, however, it didn't. I didn't make a big deal of it because I felt as though this was an easy fix. Little did I know that this was going to be the least of my problems. So, I placed an order Friday morning, via their website, and it gave me the option for it to be picked up at 11:00 am. I thought this was great, I figured they must be in their early getting everything ready so that when they open they could hit the ground running. I had paid over $51 and I left my job to pick up what I thought was going to be my coworker and my lunch. Before arriving, I tried to call them, but no answer. I did this a couple of times before getting there. Much to my surprise when I arrived the doors were locked and not a soul was in the building. I called them at least 9 times after that, left two messages, and emailed them and heard nothing. Then a little before 12:35 pm finally got someone on the phone. He stated that my food had “been there waiting for me to pick it up”. I informed him that I got a text at 12:06 saying that my order was almost ready, which was an hour after it was due. I asked him if he was a manager and he said no and that no one was there yet in management. He stated that he was going to try to contact the manager. However, instead of a manager, I was met by a young woman who was rude and called herself trying to help me out despite their business not operating properly. She said that the cooks came in at 11:15 am, claimed that I couldn’t have placed my order through their website, and told me that I was being unreasonable for asking for my money in cash despite their business fact that this situation happened because of them, not me. This was absolutely horrible!!! If I could give a negative number for this review I would. This interaction had not one ounce of positive customer service experience to be found. She told me that the manager would give me a call but didn’t. Typical!
Reply: First of all I haven’t been there 5 times this was my second visit. Second, if you had people who had any decent type of customer service experience or even if you would have emailed me or called me back, because I did leave my phone number, I wouldn’t have put you on blast. I understand mistakes happen, but what baffles me is that you are making it seem as though it is my fault. WOW! Yes, I did ask for my money back in cash, because it was taken out immediately so I wanted back in immediately. However, this was way after your staff member was completely rude to me and accusing me of lying about when the order was placed. At the end of the day, this situation was handled horribly and has continued to be handled horribly. Your ordering system should be updated so that no one can place an order that early if it can’t be ready at that time. Unfortunately, you have lost what could have been a “loyal” customer because I love to see people succeed and do great and the first and only time I have been there was a great experience. Read moreThis place was SUCH a vibe from start to finish! The service? Impeccable. The food? Out of this world. And the music and overall atmosphere? EVERYTHING we needed and more! We rolled in deep for Father’s Day…big group and four kids in tow and our server handled it like a pro. She was so sweet and patient, kept the drinks flowing, and never once seemed flustered. I wish I could remember her name because she deserves recognition!! Now let’s talk about the food… Everyone LOVED everything that was ordered! Not one complaint!! I had the vegan chicken and waffles, and calling it “good” would be an insult—it was absolutely delicious! Like, chef’s-kiss-worthy. And speaking of the chef, he actually came out and we had to let him know he really did his big one! 😂 He was super cool as well!

Then 10 minutes later it was time to place order because she came back to the table after helping another person his order who came in 30 minutes after us. Well I ordered a drink with pineapple juice along with my friend with coconut rum and she brings us Oj and and not tell us, I go to the bar asking if I could use the bathroom because I got sick as a dog I don't do Oj or nothing with it.
