A wonderful place with a serve-yourself buffet! You pay by the weight of your plate, and you can dine in or take it to go. Everything was delicious and well-prepared, and I tried a lot of new dishes here! My friends and I highly recommend the fufu, jollaf rice, spicy spaghetti, mixed greens, and the strawberry lemonade. The mixed greens taste exactly how my grandmother makes them, which is perfection as I've been desperately trying to find a similar cooking style. Definitely come here for a bite with friends and family! I paid about $21 for an overflowing plate, cake, and a strawberry lemonade!

Food was amazing and reasonably priced! Got there shortly after opening and was so happy to see all of the options. It's charged by weight and I paid $30 for 2.15 lbs of food (2 full to go containers) and a homemade juice. Some of the best African food I've had in awhile. Definitely will be back!!

Visiting for a campus event and couldn't dine in. However, went with the buffet and all I will say is FIRE! Everything seasoned to perfection and the mango cake ought to be illegal! VCU is lucky to have this location!

I had never come to this restaurant before and was excited and nervous to try. I was scared for nothing my fineky eating has always been a issue. I had the jollof rice and the spicy spaghetti and wow just wow how perfect was this paring. My 4yd daughter was with me she had the mac n cheese actually finished the while thing lol thats highly unusual for her so that speaks volumes. We each had a corn bread and I swear the flavors made me cry I have never felt more fat but it's insanely delicious. Outstanding customer service the young lady even remember my daughter name. I said my daughters name only 1 time to correct my babygirl for being extra. The lady remembered it and spoke to her by mane it made my daughter so happy. On our way to leaving I had to let them know what an outstanding job they have done. The atmosphere is wonderful, music is family friendly, food is extraordinary, the chef as well as the nice lady at the desk just made me feel at home. Don't taken my words for it drive on down and get you a plate of this fresh, hot,...

Please fellow Africans don’t go to that restaurant. I’m a OTR truck driver from PA I was staying in VA for just a couple of days, I was craving for African food. I googled and found that restaurant . I went with my boyfriend to buy some food there. We’ve been treated really bad like we came to beg. She was shouting at us like kids. She thinks we cannot afford her “luxury”food lol. I’m sure she will never do that if we were whites. It’s a shame, pitiful and pathetic. even my order came out wrong. I’m pretty sure it was the owner.she’ll recognize me if she read the comments. But the other lady at the counter was really nice an respectful.

Lady is very wicked to treat your African brother and sister like that. We were just trying to support your business thinking that family. Anyway it your lost, you would have had a faithful customer. I could even bring you more customers from the terminal.

She made me hate all “African restaurants “ Now, I go to Jamaica restaurant(they cheap and treat you...
