Service was barely adequate until the waitress began to ask me a series of escalating personal questions about my tattoos at check out. Although any normal person should be able to tell that when a total stranger tells you their tattoo “doesn’t have any meaning”, it means they don’t want to talk about it and certainly not tell you, a complete stranger, what the tattoo “means,” the waitress seemed unable to read social cues and continued to pry and babble on about my tattoos until I told her I didn’t like to talk about it. Since she apparently had no ability to check her mouth, she then told my friends she thought I was mad at her. Yes! I get mad when total strangers are invasive! This place is awesome! We just dropped in very late with a group of 20-30 people (it was late and they were currently unoccupied, don't do that when they're busy, that's rude!) The staff was friendly and accommodating and happy to see us! We got our drinks VERY quickly and they served us with chips and salsa and they were friendly AF. Mexican food never rises to haute cuisine; that's not what it is about. On my personal rating scale MM gets A+ for tastiness and B+ for presentation. We were there with our little.
