I got the green goddess smoothie and I subbed out the banana for the pineapple, so I know that changes the consistency of the smoothie. I also had the plant protein added, which has a taste of its own that may take away from the smoothie of your choice. I wouldn't recommend adding the plant smoothie if it isn't already an ingredient. But I fully admit that the quality of the smoothie was directly affected by the substitutions and add-ons that I chose. I expected that and I don't blame anyone for that. I will say that I have ordered a similar item from tropical smoothie Cafe, and it had better taste and consistency for me, not to mention it was much cheaper.

My main gripe is the pricing. It ain't cheap, but I'm okay with paying for stuff that's really good. The menu and prices for all items are listed on two TV screens up on the wall. Underneath the leftmost TV and on the counter in the bottom right of the picture are notes that address the price increase (which is NOT reflected on the tv). Everything on the menu is actually a good bit more expensive than what is listed. I can't speak for every single item because I wasn't given an itemized receipt, but the cashier told me that the plant protein add on is actually an extra $5, as opposed to the listed $3. She went on to explain that they've had issues with correcting the pricing listed on the TVs, and that's why the notes have been placed in 2 locations. That's understandable if there are electronic issues, but if that's the case, those signs informing customers about the price changes should be written in bold or on a bigger sign. It's very easy to miss them until you get rung up at the counter after placing your order. I think that could be communicated more effectively.

Also, as I mentioned earlier although it was much more expensive, the final product I got was not better than an equivalent item from tropical smoothie Cafe. I paid a little over $17 for a 16 ounce smoothie here, whereas I only pay about $8 or $9 for a 20 ounce size of a similar item (with similar substitutions/add-ons) at tropical smoothie Cafe. Could be that the ingredients are that much better I suppose. But basically im not going to get that smoothie from them ever again. But I can't speak to their other menu options. They could be absolutely banging and well worth the money. That was just not the case for me. Also make sure you verbally ask for the price of whatever you're considering before you order it so you aren't shocked when you see a price 25% higher than what...

During my recent visit a few weeks ago. I was in the area to get my 5 yrs old some ice cream. Me and my hubby decided to try it. When I came in. I was greeted with a warm welcome by 2 employees. One of the employees was mopping the floor. I place my order. So the employee that was mopping the floor started on my order. She put gloves on without washing her hands and put a few slices of bread in the toaster.🤮 So me sitting down with my son waiting and observing. I mention something to the employee about putting the gloves on without washing their hands. She comply and wash her hands and took the slices of bread out the toaster and started fresh. Two minutes in the order the two employees started having convo. One of them was saying that a family member had symptoms of the Covid and that they needed to get tested. At that point I immediately cancel my order. So the other worker gotten and attitude and I explained the situation and ask that coworker what would they have done. NO ANSWER!! I’m just getting back in town from my trip. I wanted to write a review that day of the incident to bring people awareness up about this place. Nice scenery and stuff but I’m big on cleanliness when it comes to any restaurant that dealing with food that I have to eat or anyone. I would not eat there again or recommend no one to that business just off my experience. They need to make some adjustments. I ask for the owner but they said he/she was not there because she in the process of opening another bar. WOW!! Get this business in order before you jump on another project. With that said. I wouldn’t give this business...

First and foremost if your coming here, please be patient, its take a while to get fresh juice so please be kind to the staff. Secondly, I love the location and the ambiance of the restaurant is great. I ordered 2 Grand Rising juices (12 oz) and 2 Northside Bacados spending about $31. The juices were pretty good, we have no complaints. Now, the Bacados were delicious but I was very dissatisfied with the portion of vegan bacon we got on both sandwiches. For $7 or 8 per sandwich I was definitely expecting more than just a quarter piece of "bacon". The flavor is there, but the portion sizes are not on par with the price. I had to give only 3 stars because the price point and the portions just don't match up. Other than that I would go back if I was on that side...

Beautifully decorated with a very welcoming vibe! I got the vegan chili and Mrs.Bees Green Juice. And it was so delicious the chili was made with a lot of love and spices, reminds me of those summer/fall days where you just eat chili in bed. And the green juice was the perfect blend of healthy and sweet! As a painting manager, my job is always on the go and it's often times hard to find a place where I can get healthy-vegan comfort food. And man this is the spot for that. And I love supporting our local Richmond businesses. I Will be back again!

M’s. Bees juice is one of the best juice bars I have visited and I have been around the world. The friendly environment, staff and decor was appealing to the all senses. The Karat tuna was the most delicious vegan dish I have had and shocked my taste buds into bliss. The gold post glow and brook land park energizer drinks where delicious the brook land gave me the boost I needed and gold post was refreshing and smooth. M’s. Bees well done you have a customer for life, please maintain the quality and service to persevere your customers.
