I just wanted to take a moment to recognize a truly exceptional young employee at your restaurant—Leydizel. My brother, Kyle, who has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and intellectual disabilities, visited with me last week. As anyone with a loved one who has special needs knows, navigating public spaces can be challenging, but kindness makes all the difference.
From the moment we walked in, Leydizel was incredibly sweet and attentive. He was patient and understanding as I placed our order, never rushing or making us feel like we were an inconvenience. When he asked for the name on the order, I gave my brother’s name, Kyle, so that he could feel included and excited. It meant a lot when, later on, as he passed by to deliver food to another table, Kyle called out to him—very loudly—and without missing a beat, Leydizel turned and responded warmly, “Hi Kyle.”
That moment may have seemed small, but to us, it was huge. That simple acknowledgment made Kyle’s entire day. It showed respect, compassion, and genuine human connection—something we don’t always encounter in busy public places.
Thank you, Leydizel, for making us feel seen and valued. Your kindness will not...
Read moreThis Whataburger location didn’t leave me satisfied at all. I came in for an interview and talk to the manager Mr Ricky. Before I was interviewed he asked me to do this review for him and pulled out a receipt. Now he didn’t ask for my name nor did he greet me properly. After he told me to complete a kind review we got into the interview. After the interview he said he would give me a call to let me know if I got hired or not. I ended up calling him a week later because I never received any time of call and he told me to call back because of the holidays. So I politely said okay and continued to call the next week. Mind you throughout the days I haven’t received no type of confirmation that I got the job, not an email, a call, or a text message. So when I called again he told me to call back the next day. I called the following day and he pretended like he didn’t even know me when I had just called. He rudely told me he wasn’t interested. In conclusion I had to wait for about 2-3 weeks just for him to say no. Mind you I was the one doing all the calling and he failed as a manger to...
Read moreI just left the 5400 FM 1640, Richmond, TX location with a Whattheheck experience!
We went there yesterday through the drive thru and bought a Whatachick'n Sandwich meal with the Avocado added. No problem. We went back today and asked for the same. The person on the speaker seemed confused and thought we were ordering the burger sandwich with bacon version? We carefully explained, no, we wanted the chicken sandwich with Avocado. He disappeared on the speaker for a minute returned and said they did not have such a sandwich. I explained that we purchased one yesterday and that there was a lawn sign out here by the menu also promoting it. Again after a long pause he came back and again told us that they carried no such sandwich would we like the burger with bacon on it. Suffice to say we left because they obviously did not know what they were doing.
Can you train your staff there better on your menu items and new offerings and how to better communicate with customers. Insisting we were the ones in the wrong was poor customer service as you carry exactly what we...
