Catering Review:
Delicious [dih-lish-uh s] highly pleasing to the senses, especially to taste or smell
Be careful what you wish for.
The Chicken at Pollo Regio is off the charts, when you reach in and pick out that great bundle of butcher paper wrapped chicken your taste buds immediately take you straight back to childhood when you would run down to your neighorhood park and jump in the creek on a hot Texas day, Pure Joy.
Now you can pick and choose which mouth watering piece you want, but trust me its best to take them all. With Pollo Regio chicken there is no "caring is sharing" going on here. Be greedy and make sure you are first to the table.
Now I can't forget about the onion...ohh the onion. Pull that bad boy apart, pull some chicken off the bone, wrap those bad boys in a corn tortilla and let the flavors explode in your mouth. If thats not good enough for you then take some of that green spicy, fire hot salsa and pour some into the mix. Now be careful, this ain't your grandmas salsa. The salsa is so strong you'll wish you didn't pour the whole container on your taco and you'll be reaching for the closest water bottle (even if its not yours)
Pollo Regio baked chicken is not to be played with. Be careful what you wish for and enjoy...
Read moreI'm glad to have found this Mexican restaurant. The best thing I love about them is their cooking. The meals are delicious, authentic-tasting, and comparable to a quality home-cooked meal. It's a bit more expensive than the nearby taco house, but it's because you get more for the money you pay, both in meal size and quality. I enjoyed their Chicken Burrito, while my family members enjoyed #10 Grilled Beef meal. They have a delicious charro beans. The workers are friendly. The dining area is clean. And the service is fast. You order in front and pay for your meal then. Dine-in or carry out are both good options. They accept credit cards including AMEX. The bathrooms are decent enough. Some of the seats are torn, but still comfortable. Sodas are expensive at $1.65 for a can or $2.77 for the bottled Mexican Coke or Sprite. They have many regular customers who come in and already know what they want. I've also observed people who have phoned-in and picked up their orders. I will surely be...
Read moreHow can I say this, poor service is not the rightful term I want to use, PATHETIC SERVICE!!! I will NEVER go here again. I may not speak much Spanish, even though I am Chicana, but I don't need to be disrespected and looked at dirty for ordering in English. That was the first mistake, the second was how my husband and I ended up with day old food that was extra dry. Seriously, $40 wasted on poor food. Now, even though there was side looks and remarks, I still kept my composure and maintained a respectful attitude towards the woman, because I was not raised to be a person with an ugly attitude towards others, ESPECIALLY if they're YOUR CUSTOMERS!! I didn't even want to put a star on this review, but I had to just to be able to post this. I think management here needs to get their...
