Wings and Rings — Restaurant in Richmond

Restaurant seemed very clean. except the table I was seated at, which was covered in dried puddles of translucent material crusted onto the table. Looks like whoever cleaned that table couldn't be bothered to reach more than 2 feet across. I moved to another location and every other seating area seemed to be quite clean, so I wouldn't worry too much about that. Just check where you sit before you sit down (also you may want a table because all the bench seating seemed to be like a broken piece of furniture with no springs inside so you sink to the bottom of it like a couch that has been shattered inside)

The bone-in wings were OK, but they were incredibly overpriced for what you get.

Sauces were not that great, I had the habanero, the korean, and the ghost pepper ranch. I am not saying these sauces are NOT hot, but they are definitely not as hot as the menu and the service portrays them. The korean sauce was pretty good for a korean sauce, which is ironic because I dont like korean sauce flavor, but it was actually pretty good for something I dont like. YMMV.

The Buffalo onion rings literally tasted like salt licks. The only way I was able to gag them down was by using all my bleu cheese on them, **which by the way was excellent. They say they hand-make their blue cheese and its very well liked, I can agree it was delicious. They could have also been cooked a little more thoroughly since they use big pieces of onion, but with how the batter was fully cooked on the outside they probably would have burned the batter (which seemed to be red colored salt) if they cooked the insides all the way. Maybe they should re-evaluate how hot their grease is and lower it and extend the cook time a minute or 2 so that the onions inside actually get cooked enough.

Maybe this place could spend more time making food that is good than making a trendy post-modern menu with a metal backing plate, and little insignias to let you know which dishes are vegan friendly, low gluten, or no gluten.

It's a shame because BW3 down the street is horrible, and most of the restaurants in Richmond are filthy everywhere, so I was kind of happy about the cleanliness (aside from the table I was given).

I will go back next time I want some blue cheese dressing by itself, which is never.

I could have went to the Italian place down the street and had a nice NY Strip and killer sides for how much I spent at this place.

Since I have a business of my own, I take negative reviews very seriously because sometimes as a business you can just have an off day, but it shouldn’t dictate someone’s entire impression of that facility or qualify a negative review. But today... Today was not acceptable. We are fairly regular customers at this restaurant by about 1-2 times a month usually. Most times the service is OK (not usually great), but the food is always good, and that’s why we continue to go back. Today however, the only reason I am giving a 2 star review is because the food was their only saving grace. The service was the WORST I have ever seen it there. Not only could our waitress not manage any pleasantries including a half fake smile, but when a drink accidentally got spilled at our table in the beginning of our visit, a floor sign was put up and that was it! We had to sit there for the remainder of the time with soda at our feet. Not only did it feel sticky and dirty, but it looked bad to the rest of the customers I’m sure because the pile of soda continued to travel to the next table. It was as if we were sitting there in shame of the accidental drink spill, because God forbid that has not happened to anyone before at a restaurant, especially with kids. I would have asked for a mop bucket to do it myself, but hardly saw our waitress (or any other staff around) to ask for one. On the way out, I then saw 3 or 4 employees standing at the station near the door and I explain to them that they might want to pick up the soda because it is beginning to travel, and they all just looked at me with smirks on their face! I then proceeded to explain that it would have been nice for someone to pick it up while we were there so we didn’t have to sit in our own mess for the duration of our meal, and they CONTINUED to just stare at me! No one could even muster a half meant apology or say OK. Very sad. If these girls had been my staff, I would have been very disappointed and I would have definitely written someone up for lack of customer service. Terrible! Honestly, this make me consider not going back again. It will be a while before...

Two weeks ago, I would have given 5 stars😊 My first time ever eating here and I Loved it💚 Last night around 6:00 pm we stopped by nd husband went in to order, wait and take home, We had a Lucas Oil Late Model race to watch at 7:00pm. I noticed the wings, bone in, we're very tough, dry, these wings were not made fresh, there is no way they were fresh. Use to be a manager at a chicken place and I know Not Fresh Wings... Had a rough time going to sleep because my stomach was sick and has been sick all day. Husband called and manager Tori in Richmond, In said. Well, since you did not call last night, I can't do anything about it today... Hmm, I was in bed Tori and You was probably at home as well. This is not the way anyone should handle customer service complaints NOR handle chicken... Folks pay big money to eat out and you want what you pay for, Not wings that make you sick! I live in Richmond nd I know most folks around here are RUDE and I will call you out on it... But, a Manger at a place I just ate from and got sick, No, No...
