Parma Market and Bakery — Restaurant in Ridgefield

I went here today and ordered the Philly cheese. I asked the woman to add lettuce, tomato, mayo to the sandwich. She repeated my order back to me and when I got the sandwich all three of the condiments were not on it. When I realized this I went to the counter to let her know and a guy named Pablo butt into the conversation to ask if I paid for the lettuce, tomato, mayo. I asked the same woman who took my order, repeated it back AND rang me out if she included it on my bill and she said she did! Still he asked again if I paid for the extra condiments which I obviously did because the woman who took the order confirmed it. He got an attitude and said to just give him the sandwich and he'll add the condiments anyways as if I didn't pay for them!! Horrible service. You don't make a big scene and accuse someone of not paying for lettuce and tomato, instead apologize for messing up an order and fix it! I won't be back...

I placed the order for a cannoli cake on 12/20 everything was fine then I went in today, Christmas Eve, to pick up the cake. They were looking for it for 30 minutes in the same refrigerator telling me “ we made it so we are just getting it”. however if you have it then why have you been looking for 30 minutes for it. Overall they made the cake but they LOST IT!! The women behind the counter were ignoring me the entire time and were virtually no help, the man looking for the cake was nicer but still it’s was a very annoying experience that they handled in the worst way. Overall I was in there for 40 minutes and I didn’t even leave with the item I ordered and was supposed to bring on Christmas. How do you lose someone else’s cake?! Absolutely...

What isn’t there good to say about parma? All the Karen’s that give less than 5 stars have some mental health issues. The food here is amazing. I eat here every week. There are so many options and always have nice specials sandwiches made by Pablo which are the perfect choice when you don’t know what to get. Everyone is willing to help to the best of their abilities even when they get super busy which happens a lot because the food here is just that good. Cashiers are friendly and efficient to get everyone settled and out the door. The prices can be a bit more expensive but very reasonable considering the quality of the food. I will always recommend parma for any special occasion they deliver, curbside, big catering, just everything!!! I...
