Boy does my family love Ms. Jeans. Their food is phenomenal, and the waitresses are amazing. We weren’t able to visit for a little over a month, but when we went back, the waitress remembered all of our drinks without even asking. That’s pretty impressive to me. I absolutely HATE giving a 4 star for this restaurant, but the lady at the cash register is just the absolute worst. I dread going to pay every single time we go. Apparently, there is an extra $.50 charge to take a to-go cup home with you. We had been charged every time for it without realizing. She was ringing someone up ahead of us and they questioned it not realizing that they charged extra for it like us. She then stated, “Well, the waitresses are supposed to tell you, but they never do their job.” My jaw dropped. I couldn’t believe it. My friend and I immediately defended the waitresses because they work their bottoms off!!! It made me furious, and not want to come back. Please, please, please do something about this woman because it has happened every time, and to have someone like that dealing with every single person that walks through there is bad for business. 01/17/21 Enjoyed the great food! I had family come in from out of town so we had a party of seven and had a wonderful waitress ( Maggie) that was just great. The only issue is the lady up front who works the register is very rude and an embarrassment to the restaurant. I would give 5 stars if it wasn’t for her. You cannot go wrong when you eat at Ms. Jean's. The food is very fantastic, the service is great and the staff is extremely friendly, always. The fried chicken and vegetables are off the chain good. I eat here often and have never been disappointed. When I have visitors from outta town this is where I like to take them. There is often a wait but in the end it is well worth it.
