Johnnie's Bar — Restaurant in River Falls

Stopped in early Saturday night for a live music gig....the bar was hopping. I sat at the bar and was offered a drink menu. As I perused I opted for an April Showers. When I asked the bartender if she wanted a card, for the tab? She responded w "cash only". Thank goodness I had gotten cash to tip the musician, otherwise I seldom carry cash. I then asked where the musician would play? She pointed to the front window area so I headed over. To my delighted surprise there was one standard height table in that front area nook w three chairs; perfect. Parking is easy as all four sides of Main St are marked for spaces and the East/west running streets also offer free parking. My favorite bar in River Falls. Bartenders treat you right! Also can't go wrong with popcorn and a couple drinks! Turned 21 in this bar, by far best place to go in town! Great atmosphere. Watch out for the "Frozen" songs around the latter end of the night. Not too far from Dominoes, so if you're craving late night pizza, you aren't too far away. Very unimpressed with the bartender repeatedly serving a drunk girl excessive shots and saying he didn't 'want her to get served at other bars'. Extremely irresponsible serving habits.
