Let me tell you, the Riverbank California location is absolutely HORRIBLE! The service is below average for Crumbl. I visit all of the locations in the bay area to get treats for my associates and those are fine, RIVERNBANK, NOOOOOOT!
2 poor experiences here in 2 days. Yesterday, I ordered a cake for my wife's birthday. I ordered the cake online and paid, didn't show up for over 4 hours, and guess what? I show up with my 3 little ones in hand and the girl comes up to me and says, "I have bad news for you. We don't have the cake." I looked at her and asked how no one had called me to let me know in nearly 5 hours?! She just apologized and admitted that yes, someone definitely should have called me to let me know. She then said she could refund me. I told her that is not acceptable. She said she was going to go get her manager and guess what now? No manager comes back up! Terrible business to avoid the issue and send the associate back to the counter. So she comes back and tells me that they are missing the top layer and can have it ready in an hour if I want to come back! Seriously?! The solution is all of a sudden that easy for you? Why wasn't this done before i ever got there then? So now i had to go back at nearly 9pm to pick up the cake and it was no longer a surprise. thanks!
Now, fast forward to the next day, 1/29. My wife has purchased cookies for her associates every month of 2024! She normally deals with Turlock and they are great! Today, she made the mistake, she tried Riverbank, UH OH! She order 3 of the individual Oreo cakes to each have individual gift wraps. Due to her status as a loyal customer, she gets this included now. Well, now i have bad news for you, she shows up and they are all bundled together with a bow and only the top box has the special message and the Happy Birthday sticker. The 2 on the bottom are dirty so she will have to clean them up. Ridiculous! Who would seriously assume you buy 3 individual cakes for ONE person?! If you have a question, call the customer for goodness sakes. Now she will have 2 associates without the special message and no Happy Birthday. This may seem small to some, but this is customer service 101. The leaders in this location need to be trained and understand what it means to provide customer service today. I can tell you, neither of us will EVER visit this location again and between us we have over 300 employees to treat, not to mention our 5 boys who enjoy Crumbl. This should be an embarrassment. I would recommend you do NOT visit...
Read moreThese cookies were delicious from the first bite some odd years ago, up until my first visit to this location. The server whom took my order Melanie or Melody ruined the entire experience, her attitude was very poor, after having to take my order for the second time after waiting 20min. When it was ready Melanie spelled my name wrong which caused the other girl to pronounce it the way it was spelled, so I intentionally ignored her attempt to read out loud Jeff. Although I knew it was mine and noted Melanies failed attempt at providing quality customer service. She just stood there watching and hearing it all and didn't intervene nor apologize for it sitting there for an additional 3min before turning around pick8ng up my order and place it in fr9nt of me instead of handing it to me. This in house visit ruined this company's flavor in my mouth. The wait time, the attitude, the level of disrespect I felt while in front of7 to 11 other customers. Never again will I spend another dollar or minute with that...
Read moreI just went today aug 26 at around 7:30 the cookies were fantastic but the line was disorderly and the amount of mosquitoes in this cookie place was DISGUSTING. My husband and I got bitten several times while waiting for our cookies not to mention the fact the counters and walls were covered in dead mosquitoes and looked like there was blood on the wall! The cookies themselves are amazing but I am so displeased with the amount of bugs that my husband and I will not be going into that store anymore to wait in line for cookies and be eaten alive. We’ve decided that from now on we’ll do mobile order pick up instead of walking in. Please do something about the mosquito problem or this establishment will end up losing business because just about everyone in there was complaining about the bugs if not itching/ scratching themselves because they too were bitten. I feel bad for the employees who work here all day they’re probably eaten alive and covered in bug bites by the end of...
