Edit. After the reply I was I the Farm and the group I was with wanted to try the gelato. It was great and will be back.
This is just my experience and maybe not yours. The owner decided to challenge my review on yelp so I’ll post it here as well.
The quick story was, we went for dinner and went for gelato after it was 759 when we walked to the door and they close at eight apparently. Normally, I’d say this is fine except there was a line of four people that weren’t served and as soon as we walked in, they told us they could not serve us. As a new business, it makes sense to gain customers and not turn away customers. Scooping four scoops of gelato into a disposable cup costs Nothing gains money makes a satisfied customer and instead they decided not to which is fine.
My review isn’t of the gelato of course because I wasn’t served any it’s of the business which is OK to review the business or at least what an employee did which isn’t the worst thing just a learning experience for both of us. So if you want great gelato this is probably the best spot around and hopefully at 7:59 when you walk in they treat you with a smile and say yes I can serve you instead of no I cannot . I can post a picture of my dinner next-door as proof because I don’t have proof of eating gelato...
Read moreThis is probably the highest caliber gelato I've ever had--coming from a self-proclaimed ice cream/gelato snob--and I found it in Riverside of all places. Just one block away from UC Riverside, look for the small red building that's a literal hidden gem tucked away in the Farm House Collective outdoor food hall.
And the secret to why their gelato is SO dang good is because they've partnered with a world-renowned gelato chef who's basically a celebrity in the gelato trade. Everything is made from scratch, like the espresso they brew for the Cappuccino caramel flavor, and the undeniable quality of their ingredients like Belgian chocolate and pistachios imported from Italy in the Dubai chocolate gelato.
Presentation is absolutely flawless, and this is the first place I've seen that can do a fancy dipped cone, but make it a cup!
And this is a fire combo you have to try. Add the pistachio praline that's made in-house with the gelato, just trust me on this. The crunch, the texture, and the flavors just work so well together.
A scoop of gelato starts at about 7 bucks, but you get a choice of 2 flavors and I promise, every bite is so worth it!
Thanks for...
Read moreWe drove all the way from corona to make it there before the shop closed and we got there at 645pm and they close at 8pm. We asked the girl for waffle cones for our gelato and we were told that they were out of cones and all the people in line behind us got very disappointed as so did we, we were looking forward to getting the whole desert experience. We told her we would wait if she made fresh ones and The girl said that she’s not allowed to make anymore cones because it’s an hour before closing WTH. Well I’m sure all the people behind us would have bought up all the cones that got made but whatever. We purchased the gelato and it’ was delicious so creamy and very full of flavor so my review was because of the lack of...
