Tim Boba — Restaurant in Riverside

I've been coming here for a few years, and I never ask for a drink to be fixed, but today for the 1st time I did. I asked for very little ice on my cane water, and they put the normal amount. I politely asked the girl at the counter which knows me due to me being a regular if she could please fix my drink, she acted very snobbish like I was asking for a favor rather than for them to just simply fix my drink and get my order right. Real rudely, they took my drink back and brought it back with half the ice AND LESS JUICE. When I said, "Aren't you going to fill it?" she began to behave rude and pointed to the cup and said ok I'll only fill it up to here." It always shows the integrity of a business when something that small becomes an issue. I have spent a lot of money here and brought all my friends regularly, but no more. I will make sure me, and all my friends never spend another dime here, and if you're reading this, I encourage you to find a more polite and grateful place to spend your money on drinks. On top of it all, 9 OUT OF 10 TIMES I LEAVE A TIP!!! SUCH A DISSAPOINTMENT! I do not recommend this...

Because this is a place where students can come by and exclusively study at, the experience can vary a lot for the average person. When it's empty or with little people, there are many comfortable places to wait at, and the service is quick. When there's students, there's really no place to wait, and you've got to go outside and hope you can steal a spot inside or, at least, hear your number being called. Even then, they still manage to be quite quick, so it's mainly just a spacial issue.

As for the boba, it's average. For the drinks, they can be hit or miss. I personally do not recommend the cream drinks. So far, I've really enjoyed their slushes and avalanches; the iced teas are alright; and, I'm not sure about the milk teas yet.

As for the food I've tried thus far, it was horrible. It did not taste fresh or right. Hopefully, I'll have a better experience another time.

I love the workers here but the manager is very strict and ruins my experience here. I come here very often to study and give this place business. however, when I used the left bathroom, this man had the audacity to knock when I was in there for 2 minutes because the other restroom was taken. I also studied here with a friend and even though we both bought something, she was unable to eat the dinner she bought from the thai food place next door. The employee I confirmed this with specifically said this was a "manager rule" and seemed very apologetic but that it was out of his hands. I genuinely hope the manager has a rude awakening that small businesses appeal to consumers due to a family less corporate feel. and the way you treat your guests negates this. The other workers are very kind and I hope they are able to find a better work environment because I couldnt imagine working under a person like this...
