I agree with the other reviews that said this place was a little pricey for what you get. I purchased a medium pepperoni pizza, an order of mozzarella sticks, an antipasto salad, fettuccine Alfredo, and four drinks for $66.41.
The mozzarella sticks were the best item we tried: thick and crunchy on the outside and piping hot on the inside. The salad was okay; it had generous portions of meat, but it was kind of bland. It came with plenty of ranch, but it didn't taste homemade. The person who had the fettuccine said they couldn't taste the sauce and it was oily.
The pizza was good, but not great. The pepperoni was crispy and the crust was soft. The dough was thin and a little oily, but not bad. I wish it had come with more cheese.
The atmosphere was interesting. People in my party remarked it reminded them of "Friends," it was like they imagined a New York pizzeria would be, and it seemed like a place that would be on the outskirts of town by the woods in a place like Rhode Island. To me, an older adult, it was too loud to hear any conversation. There were many (8?) big-screen t.v.s along with music playing and a large number of people talking. I would think the younger crowd would feel comfortable in the environment and would probably enjoy the experience with friends.
There is a small bar with beer on tap. The rest of the facility is a large open room of seating, from small tables to large tables, seats, stools, and benches; none of which were built for comfort.
The clientele ranged from tattooed young adults in sports jerseys to couples on dates to a bunch of guys drinking beer to families with young children.
Overall, I think this place would be ideal for a variety of people, but it just...
Read moreI loved the pizza but was astonished that after handing my debit card to the cashier (one I hardly ever use) my account was used for fraudulent transactions after I left until my bank finally locked my card. So be careful when using debit cards. Their pizza is good but it wasn’t worth $1500 or so hundred someone used on my debit card fraudulently. Use cashier
Reply: I did not hang up on you, I said goodbye and hung up. I did not call to fight I called to inform you : As I explained to you that this card was used rarely I didn’t accuse you or Capone’s I stated it was used at your restaurant and then that night my card was charged once, then Monday between 11-1 there were multiple charges almost $1500, they tried to charge but my card locked up after $144. Then Tuesday they tried again for hundreds of more dollars. The police said someone could have put a card scanner on your machine or hacked into your business. But I had not used that card in person for over a month before this instance. I was just trying to inform you of the possibility so you could check so no one else had to go through this nightmare. Hopefully the police will be able to check where these deliveries from Aliexpress and Uber eats went to. They even tried the Wave and Fashion Nova, if any of your employees use these places. I love your restaurant and service is good (if they can get the order right), but they correct errors. It’s just since I don’t use that card regularly, the only place it was handed over was your restaurant, and the charges...
Read moreWe have been going to Capone’s for over 20 years, since they were located across the street. The pizza is always great and delicious but don’t order a single slice for lunch because every time I have it’s always burnt. Wings are very tasty and worth the price. The fries are too crispy to our liking but we order them for our daughter. The customer service from the females behind the counter is always horrible!! For some reason they’re always rude and never smile. If they hate their job so much then they should quit but hopefully this review helps the owners to get rid of the “bad apples” in her crew. The female employees ruin our visit every time but the only reason we keep returning is because the pizza is so good, the beer on tap is nicely chilled to perfection and the salads are always on point. I hope the owners also put in a better dress code for their employees. Yesterday one young rude female was wearing pink sweatpants that looked like pajamas pants plus she had long purple nails that looked vey unsanitary. She looked very unprofessional and her bad attitude was very disrespectful. Also all the females should have their hair up in buns or braids when serving food. The atmosphere is a nice variety of people. The many large tv screens...
