IHOP — Restaurant in Riverside

June 22nd 2021. I just came from this IHOP for lunch. We were seated on a dirty table. We called the waiter to clean . My friend ordered coffee. They brought coffee with a bowl full of creamers & packets of sugars. But some were empty packets & empty creamers. My guess was they took this bowel from another table & passed it to us. When my friend got a refill for her coffee, it tasted tea. She had to ask for another cup & fresh coffee. Our waiter was friendly & tried to do her best, but something was not right. I have dined here before covid and everything was ok. Not this time. Actually I am not going back there soon because I cannot trust them with cleanliness. Perhaps they were sort of staff. FEBRUARY 7 2025. I decided to check them out. 7.40 a.m. Food and service was perfect. But as i was leaving my heart broke. By the waiting area a lady was ordering breakfast for a young man who has made bad choices in life. Sad part is IHOP could not allow this young man stand in the waiting area. He had to wait outside and it was raining. This young man did not show signs that he had used drug or alcohol. He was sober. Why for heavens sake could they not allow him in the waiting area?? There were no other customers in the waiting area. And even if there were, he is a human being and deserves compassion. I talked to him and he seemed quite nice. He was not too dirty either. IHOP show compassion on such. Why would he wait in the rain when you have a witing area? Why cant he eat inside??? God knew him before he was conceived. God knows him now and HE (GOD) loves him. The service is not the greatest. If you care about customer you will not get that in this location. First, people that got her after me and my family where sat down first. When I addressed this to the host he apologized and sat us down immediately. I thought OK! This might not be a bad experience after all. After, 30 minutes of waiting on our meal we are still not served. The people that where sat before us still got there food out first even though we still ordered first. We asked for our table to be cleaned and I had to get up and ask one of the waitress to please clean the table, since it wasn't addressed the first time I asked. When she came about to clean it it was more upsetting as she literally just got the table wet. No cleaning! This place is so... Unorganized, it is sad that people don't care for customer service anymore. Wait! But at the end when my bill arrives I'm sure the waitress expects a good tip! Really for what? This is not a one person responsibility. Obviously, the owner and management don't give a care about what happens here. Definitely, the last time I bring my family to...

Service was very slow, drinks did not get there until after the food, chicken tenders were so hard they sounded like granite being crushed when biting on them, pancake order was wrong, asked for tres leches, got buttermilk with a drizzle of the sauce for tres leches. The pancakes that were brought out were mediocre at best, at least they got one of 2 orders right, by the time my order was remade to where the chicken tenders resembled edible food, my girlfriend had already finished eating. Was it worth it? Well the order was a plate of rock hard tenders and the incorrect type of pancakes which were still very dry, a hot chocolate that was half whipped cream for some reason, a Dr Pepper, and a small stack of chocolate chips pancakes, a scoop of hash browns and an egg. Was that worth $45.19? Definitely not, if the food was properly cooked the first time around and the right food was brought out than maybe $25-30 would seem fair, having said that was crazy as it sounds you’ll be much happier with any fast food breakfast platter than this pancake house that can’t make...
