Last night me my fiance and my friend and his fiance went to a concert here, and we drove 2+ hours to get here. As we got to the venue to go up to our balcony seating, which we reserved 2+ months ago, and we paid $600+, we see that one of the seats was broken.
We brought it up to one of the staff that the seat was broken and the manager talked to me and my friend, they told us what they can do. What was their best resolution??
Go downstairs in the GA area, stand there the entire show, and give us tickets to another show. I do not want to come back here. We were just shocked by what we had just heard. After they said this to us, my friend told them that if we do go downstairs in the GA area, nobody can sit here, and you may not resell our seats. The manager rolled his eyes and kept giving us an attitude. Very unprofessional of them.
We go down to the GA and we see couple of employees walking around with a tablet and on the screen it says "Seat upgrade", then we asked them for us to be seated in those seat upgrade areas after explaining to them our situation. They told us they would not he able to do so until the show began, and it was sold out.
The show started, and there were a lot of empty seats where the seat upgrade people would have sat. If you ever have your favorite band/artist coming here, I suggest you really think about it before making the drive.
I would not come back to this venue ever again, even if my favorite performer (s) come here.
Very bad experience, we didn't enjoy our time and did not enjoy the concert. The staff could have done way more than they offered us, horrible venue and even more horrible staff.
(I have provided photos of the empty "upgrade seats" and the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreInsanely annoyed by the lack of communication from this venue from the website, staff, and venue itself. Nowhere on their website does it specify if you need a VIP ticket to sit in the seats in the back of the venue, so I bought a VIP ticket thinking I needed it. Well, turns out theyāre free, and itās like a first come first serve type of deal. Towards the end of the night, like 3 bands before the show is over, and I decide to hit up the VIP lounge- AND ITāS CLOSED!!!! So why the hell did I buy a VIP ticket for? Complete waste of money, I want a refund. Also, the venue itself is confusing as hell. I couldnāt figure out how to get into the VIP line (youāre probably thinking- wow, a lot of talk about this, I know) because there were no clear signs or directions from staff. Then, I couldnāt figure out how to leave the venue since I came in a different way than general admission did. And whatās interesting is it took 3 RMA members to tell me how to get out, they kept leading me upstairs into the floor where the show occurs. I was so confused because I kept saying I need to leave the VENUE. And lastly, this venue probably had the worst curation of people in attendance EVER. Iāve gone to countless hardcore shows all up and down OC and in the IE- and nothing compares to how trashy everyone here was. And the best part is security was no where to be found when there were 2 separate incidents of people drunk off their ass causing a scene, and clearly needed to be escorted out for disturbing everyone around them.
Thanks for coming...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe concert itself was incredible. Coheed and Cambria always put on a phenomenal show.
Where the issue lies is the organization of the event. The people managing the lines for some reason were combining both levels of VIP confusing all of us.
One is strictly for the acoustic song performance and the other is both meet and greet and acoustic show.
We all just lined up in one line because we weren't told otherwise and there were quite a few people who didn't even get approached to get our badge.
I had to walk from the front of the line halfway down the line to the person with the clipboard and let them know that they skipped me and told them my last name so I could get my Prise VIP.
Once inside nobody knew what to do in regards to meeting at the stairs.
The other VIP group who was doing the meet and greets all came downstairs afterwards. They were not told from the staff upstairs what the instructions were once they were finished.
They kept asking the other group in line what the line was for and where they were supposed to go.
Then while the everyone was already in the auditorium then and only then did they start scanning to verify we actually had tickets which is something you're supposed to do prior to letting someone into the venue.
I have no clue who runs the venue but you need to do better. It was like La traffic in the building with how unstructured and chaotic the lines and the poor communication was.
I do not foresee myself attending another show...
