We have gone to this Wendy's since 2009 and I have never been as disappointed in them until tonight. Don't get me wrong the past year it has really gone downhill. I have worked in the food industry myself for years and understand how difficult it can be at times. We did an online order of 9 items. It was a pretty simple order. 3 plain burgers and the others without tomato. We pulled up to the window as we were the only car there. We were asked to pull forward because our order wasn't finished. That is a reasonable request, but waiting 22 minutes wasn't. I am a pretty patient and understanding person but as we watched 7 other cars order and leave my patience was waning. I was beginning to wonder if we were forgotten. As I was getting out to go in to check they brought the food out. We pulled over to check our food. I am so grateful we did because it was all wrong!! I was a little frustrated as we had waited so dang long for it to be wrong and cold fries....who wants cold fries...?? I didn't want to wait another 20 minutes. Because it took so long I only asked that the plain burgers be re-maid. They were very unfriendly and acted as though it was our fault. I understand their frustration because yes there are very dishonest people out there, but right on the receipt in black and white was my correct order. I would have happily just ordered new burgers had it been my fault. After having a customer wait that long for such a simple order I would not have asked for the food back or I would have tried to make it right. My husband did ask for fresh fries after we waited a few more minutes for the new burgers, and they begrudgingly gave them to us. Again I don't like writing bad reviews, especially food reviews, we all have off days, and because it is a difficult job and people can be very hard to deal with. It's been an off year for you Riverton Wendy's. Wendy's, I just know you can do better. Wendy's be better!!! I have faith in you!!! I would love love love to be able to write a raving...
Read moreGot left waiting at the counter for a fairly long time, which is less than ideal but not a deal breaker, but then watched the kid who finally DID take our order get publicly reprimanded for taking it!
Four people in our group. Here was the result; One burger was ordered without a bun. Two were prepared that way. (To their credit, they did fix the one that was wrong). Gave us an extra drink we didn't order (thanks! But still technically a mistake, unfortunately.) Gave one person the wrong burger altogether (or possibly it was the right burger, but prepared poorly enough to be unrecognizable). Forgot one item altogether. We didn't realize this until we were already gone. The bunless burger was not wrapped in lettuce; rather, it had a small leaf-portion on top and one on bottom. I've never ordered bunless at Wendy's before and this may be standard; if so, consider this a point docked from the whole chain, and not just this franchise. Finally, we ordered it to go, and they prepared it for dine-in. Once they realized their mistake they quickly and cheerfully bagged it for us, but forgot to include napkins.
The food was fine, such as it was; but the shift manager seemed flustered and lacked composure under pressure (it was around 2 - 2:30 pm, so post lunch rush, but it didn't seem particularly busy while we were there). It wasn't the worst thing ever, but it was enough hassle that I wouldn't go...
Read moreWent to grab some dollar sandwiches getting two crispy chickens MINUS MAYO (because I'm alergic to eggs) add Ranch and add onion. Then I also got two cheese burgers add mayo and lettuce for my siblings. Checked my food and it was wrong so I went in to get them exchanged. When I got home I bit into my crispy to find that THERE WAS MAYO ON IT not to mention on of the cheese burgers she gave back to me had no mayo!!! I called to let the manager know that two out of three snadwhiches I brought back were wrong and just wanted to let her know, I didn't want a refund nor another exchange but only wanted her to take accountability for her actions. SHE SAT THERE ARGUING THAT SHE WATCHED THE SANDWHICH MAKER MAKE THEM BUT OBVIOUSLY NOT BECAUSE IF YOU NOTICE IN THE PICTURE BELOW THAT ON MY CRISPY THERE WAS MAYO NOT RANCH (you can tell due to not only flavor but visually due to lack of the black pepper flakes that is in Wendy's ranch.) I'm not Petty enough to sit here and argue with her over dollar snadwhiches but when she was confronted SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!! HOW RUDE CAN YOU BE?? I used to be a supervisor for Wendy's and know for a fact that Sundays are cleaning days.
