I usually don't write reviews, but honestly after this experience I feel as though I have too. Today we decided to go to one of our (up until this incident) favorite Hispanic restaurants in town, Alejandro's. We arrive @ 3:30 and order our drinks. It is now 340 drinks arrive And shortly after chips too. After 50 min I seek out an employee to inquire about the lack of attention to our table. Keep in mind I stay completely professional and as courteous as one could be given the circumstances. No drink refills and our order hasn't been taken. During our almost hour spent in this restaurant this far the other tables have been seated received drinks and food. One table had already finished their meal. I finally go back up to the bar area to inquire about our food order and to ask if I could speak with a manager. The guy looked at me and replied the manager is cooking he is busy and asked if he could help. I replied and told him I would like to speak with the manager if you could just send him over to the table whenever he's not busy. The so-called manager comes over to the table was extremely rude and had a poor attitude. He asked what seems to be the problem. I explained the situation he then replies and says okay what would you like for me to do I honestly was a little floored and did not have a response at this point he grabs the food from the table which was not even prepared correctly and ask us to leave. I really can't believe the way I was just treated and to top it off we had 2 kids with us...
Read moreI was highly disappointed at the treatment we received..I took my family and friends in to celebrate my daughter's graduation and I had dined there a few days earlier and informed them that I would be returning in a few days with a large party and wanted to make reservations to accommodate the size of the party And was assured that that was not necessary because because it would be after the lunch rush once we got there they had 2 small tables put together which clearly was not large enough ..we began to place the orders and as guest continued to arrive we asked for more seating and one of the managers said that he would put Guest at another table but he wasn't going to put any more tables together for us and quite rudely I might add..this disturbed one of my guests to the point that she actually left.. Once the food started to arrive to arrive the 2nd issue arose with the sheer confusion of the waitress Tris she did not have the majority of the orders right and being that it was a large party everyone tried to be as accommodating as possible and she met that with rudeness.. it just wasn't a very good experience and once I paid the bill I wasn't even given a receipt for my purchases so I really don't even know what I paid for.. I had been a frequent diner there but I have noticed that the quality of the food has changed as well.. as has the attitude of the wait staff so I don't think that we will be dining there again.. nor will I be bringing any friends, family or business associates...
Read moreThank goodness for outdoor seating and a pretty day, as the restaurant was very loud inside. Not because of the employees or any fault of the management, but simply because there was a large group of loud talkers in the middle of the dining area. There was a salsa bar that had a great avocado based salsa (not guacamole) that my bf and I both thought was great, as well as a selection of mild to hot tomato based salsas to choose from. We ordered a queso fundito as an appetizer to dip our chips in, but unfortunately, the appetizer came out at the same time as our meal.(subtract one star) The food had a good flavor and was still warm when it arrived at our table, though no need for the usual "careful, HOT plate" warning. This was not a big deal for me though. I have neither the desire nor the ability to eat food that resembles lava! The couple seated at the table next to us complained about their margaritas not having much, if any tequila in them (subtract one star) The server was attentive, polite and happy. All told, I would...
