Was looking for something decent to eat after 9pm, so almost everything that wasn’t fast food was closed or about to close. I stopped by this Five Guys at like 9:45pm and they were super friendly. I’m used to employees being kinda rude and dismissive, so it was nice to be treated like a customer and not a burden.
My food was done quickly and Matt, who cooked my food, was really pleasant and hooked me up with some Cajun spicy to try with my fries (hadn’t had it before so I was glad to take the suggestions). My burger was fresh and on point - the fries were solid, though I could not finish them all cause I was pretty stuffed with the burger....
Read moreThe fries were 100% overdone as you can see in the photo. This was at 7:30 pm and there was only one person ahead of me in line - it was not busy at all. The person making the fries was no where to be found so the other person who was making the hamburgers put some in the oil. Later on the 'fry person' came out of the back and dumped out the now nearly burnt fries. Why Five Guys doesn't have timers-buzzers on their fries to prevent this from happening is beyond me. I couldn't finish eating my expensive fries and my husband couldn't finish his either. Big waste of money. Back to...
