Ordered a venti cold brew in the drive-thru at the board pulled up to the window, they didn't have the drink ready or even know about my drink, which is fine I know systems go down, so I had to reorder it at the window. The barista apparently didn't listen to me when I said venti and gave me a grande. When I told her I ordered a venti, she told me she would have to refund and then redo the order (while I was sitting in the drive thru holding up the line) which to me is not acceptable being that they made the mistake. I said venti twice. Suggesting that I waste my time and the time of the customers behind me for their mistake is not acceptable. They should have immediately just made the correct drink, as per company policy. However, they gave me a hard time about it, so I just took the Grande (incorrect drink for almost 7 dollars) and left. It's what, a .50 cent difference? Terrible customer service. There's plenty of other locations in the area so I'm not planning on going back to this one since they don't stand by corporate policies. I contacted corporate and checked and they verified the drink should have been re-made correctly without issue.
Update 9/10 - I gave this location another chance to do a mobile order pick up. I placed the order at 7:37, was in the Drive-Thru line by 7:44 (my pickup time) and was in line to pick it up until 8:04 so it took basically 20 minutes to pick up a mobile order through the drive-thru. There were 4 cars ahead of me meaning they spent a full 5 minutes per car. This location has a lot of work to do...
Read moreI love Starbucks. I go daily. I used to frequent this one since it’s so close to my house. I’ve now switched to the one at Rochester and Auburn. The drive thru at this location is extremely slow. I have never had a kind employee working the window at this location. I went yesterday to give it another shot and was met with an extremely rude employee at the window. The drive thru also took a solid 15 minutes to get through with only one car ahead of me. For what the Starbiez charges these days, I’d expect someone to be a littttttle bit friendlier. I get it, customer service isn’t always the best job. We are humans and have bad days. The Starbz CEO has been making a lot of crazy rules for yall. I would be annoyed too, but the customers aren’t making these changes. Maybe try to be a little kinder. I sat at the cash out window for almost ten minutes while I watched the cashier make the drinks for the car BEHIND ME while mine were sitting in plain sight. Just not the most efficient place. It's honestly a struggle to even want to go back. The only reason I do is because it's close to my house, but every time I go, whether it's inside or at the drive-thru, the service is just as awful. Not a single smile, just rude remarks. They act like they don't even care about the customers. It's like they want you to grab your coffee and leave as soon as possible.
