I've read enough of the reviews to know that even though I'm going to write one, Georgio's won't do anything besides offer a pat on the back to me and hope that they can 'win me over' the next time. Well, there probably won't be a next time for me as I already know, too, that this is not a proper business model for an unhappy customer, such as myself. The proper thing to do is offer a disgruntled customer compensation, a replacement, or some token to 'win them back'. That SHOULD be the business model. Take note, Georgio's. You need to understand damage control better. It's not 'hope we can do better next time'. You should be saying 'let me make this better now.' Now, about those pizzas we got tonight, I'm going to give you the cold-hearted truth: they were horrible. In a market where you have many other competitors, you better get a grip on your product and your pricing. Almost 1/4 of a slice of one of our pizzas didn't have cheese, nor toppings on it. Picture included. Many other slices had such little cheese that the sauce, also in such a thin layer itself you could basically see the crust below, peeked through. The toppings were scant throughout both pizzas we ordered. Both our pizzas had 1/2 and 1/2 toppings, and the slices were cut so incredibly poorly that on several of the slices the toppings crossed over. And the box....the Georgio's label, barely visible, stamped so faintly in one cheap, monotone, color, might as well have read "we no longer care". That's the impression we walked away with. Not only was the product bad, so was the pricing. $14 for a 1-topping lackluster pizza? Really? I could have and would have gotten something better at ANY other pizza joint in town, for a fraction of that price. It's a good thing that I had a BOGO coupon (and a hungry family at home waiting), because if I would have been charged the $28 original price tag, I would have told them to keep their pizza. Frankly, this pizza wasn't worth the $7 per pizza I DID spend. And it was so sloppily made that a 2 year old could have done it. You can do better than this, Rochester MI.

I was so incredibly disappointed with my experience here. I thought it would be nice to come to this pizza restaurant because I have not had it before, and it had a giant sign on the front window saying it was voted Rochester's favorite pizza. The menu was different from the traditional pizza restaurant. It offered things that I like but are not common at other pizza restaurants. Because of that, I figured why not order things that I never order to make this a complete and new experience. That resulted in an order of the Breaded Fried Ravioli and the Philly Cheesesteak Calzone. The ravioli was stuffed with all things that I like including ricotta, Monterey Jack, jalapeño, red pepper, and onion. It came with a side of tomato basil sauce for dipping. The ravioli was really tough around the edges. It seemed like it was over fried. If the ravioli was cooked better and it had more sauce, I would have enjoyed it more. The calzone was a disaster. It looked amazing when the waitress brought it out. But as soon as I cut into it, it was a nightmare. A pool of all the juices came flowing out onto the tray. This was really disturbing to me because of the amount of juices that came out. I honestly could have filled up a 12 ounce cup up to the top. It makes me wonder when Rochester voted this pizza place as number one, werethe calzones considered.

I like Georgios's. I've been many times to get a slice of pizza. But today I changed it up and ordered a calzone for the first time. I'm so upset. I built my own calzone with pepperoni, ham, spinach and feta. Each topping was a little over $2. In the end, I spent $25 on a calzone full of ricotta. The toppings were all near the crust/edge rather than throughout, and there weren't enough to feed a toddler. The bites that had toppings were great, but if you're going to sell a pocket of its size with toppings at those prices, fill it up. It's a shame. If I didn't live 30 minutes away, I would have been back in a heartbeat.

It makes me so sad to write this. I wasn't going to leave a review but my hubby who rarely complains asked me to do it. This has been a favorite pizza spot for us for so long. We have never sent food back, we've properly tipped many times when we really shouldn't have based on service quality. After over a decade of eating here, Sunday was our last time. The food is always amazing. The service used to be great. Between Chelsea leaving and then COVID service has not recovered. I can count more than 3 instances in which we've sat there being totally ignored. Including last Sunday when we were sat and never given menus or water until someone, I assume the owner, yelled from the back. A girl came over and said "sorry for the wait." We just smiled and ordered drinks. There was no "wait" we were simply ignored. Once given menus and drinks, other people came in, sat down, were immediately given menus, waters, and appetizers before they ever came back a second time to our table another long wait later. The girl I think knew we were not happy by the expression on my face as she served a table appetizers that had come in after us and we still had not ordered, and she then pawned us off on another kid there. He got an unfortunate earful of our experiences the last few years and being ignored this visit which I am now writing here. No one ever came out, apologized or made any attempt to make things right. Our original server never came back or checked on us until we had cash in hand. My husband said that the iffy service is just as bad at lunch when he has come in during the week over the last few years. At one point in he came in on lunch at normal lunch times for cheese slice day and was informed there weren't any cheese slices. He asked how long and she replied with "oh idk prob 45 min." Are you kidding? You're running a special at lunch and your cheese pizza is taking 45 min? He walked out.

He came on another visit and had to ask multiple times for a refill that he just never got.

Another instance, he ordered 3 slices and they replied with well we only have 2 left. Never offered to bring the 2 and then a 3rd slice when the next pizza came out which came out only a short while after he ordered.

Each time we've come its always been different staff so we think, "hey it probably won't be bad this time." Only to be ignored... again. We gave Georgio's a long break before our visit Sunday to try again as we love the food so much and didn't want to just "throw the baby out with the bath water" as they say. As someone who served tables for many years this sounds like a training problem when the same problem is so persistent and months apart and a couple years on end at least.

I'm sure this will get a basic reply of "so sorry, it'll never happen again." Had someone come out and talked to us this might be different but we will not be back any time soon if ever. I wish Georgios all the best and success in the coming years. I hope that going forward others won't have this kind of experience and that staff can be...

Been coming here for 6 years and today my fiancé and I received the worst service by two chefs and a waitress named Ellie. My fiancé and I patiently waited over an hour to receive our pizza that we ordered just to see the chefs laughing at us from the kitchen. We asked the waitress named Ellie for a refund because of how long our pizza was taking, since we had to leave, and didn’t have any more time to wait. She refused to give us a refund. We asked Ellie a second time for a refund and she decided to bring out the pizza (right after we asked for the refund, how convenient- that was sarcasm by the way) we told her we did not want the pizza anymore and wanted a refund for the THIRD time. She proceeded to ask us if we were sure we wanted a refund instead of the pizza with the snarkiest attitude. So for the FOURTH time we asked her for a refund. She still wasn’t able to give us the refund so she just took our name and phone number for the manager to contact us about it.

I have worked in customer service for almost a decade of my life and I would never have treated customers the way Ellie did. You are not supposed to argue with customers the way Ellie did. It was obvious there was no management today since everyone in the back seemed to be fooling around. We will not be returning to this location because of the mediocre service that was provided to us today. We do not recommend anyone comes to this location unless you are able to wait over an hour for your food to come. We also hope the management provides better training to its...
