I wanted to love this place. By the sound of the other reviews and Tea Time’s menu, I was hopeful that their bubble tea would taste authentic. To my disappointment, the drinks tasted like powder shaken up with iced water. Admittedly, I drank authentic bubble tea from Taiwan, and I only know of one store in Mn (founded by a Taiwanese) that uses a similar recipe. My standards and expectations are pretty high.
It tastes as if they do not use real tea, and like I stated before, it tastes like a powder mix. I ordered a Jasmine milk tea and a mango milk tea. Both had a chalky, artificial flavor to them. I shall continue my search for a worthy bubble tea...

Even though there were several people ahead of me, my order came out quickly. I tried the kiwi popping boba, which was refreshing and tasty. My husband asked the cashier for their favorite drink and ended up enjoying his too. The only downside is that the location is pretty small and there aren’t many places to sit. My go-to drink is the Black Sugar Milk Tea with tapioca pearls and added coconut—it’s the perfect treat. My sister loves the honeydew or mango with pearls, and both are always delicious.
