I’ve eaten just about everything they serve having been down here for about 2 months. For breakfast I like the free range egg omelet with everything in it. Ask for sour cream! The bagel sandwich is great but I add more bacon and sausage.
Lunch and Dinner are the same. I like the fresh salad bar, If I do chicken soup I’ll buy more chicken from the salad bar and then add it. My favorite is the stuffed green pepper soup! I like their crusted tilapia and honey sriracha salmon. Their verse pulled pork is the best and meatloaf is like moms. For veggies they have real mashed potatoes, cubes maple squash, and spicy honey Brussels sprouts or asparagus are excellent. If you don’t like their the menu there’s hamburgers, and they’ll get you a gluten free bun if you ask. There’s also cold items section for like deserts and sandwiches and gluten free options. ...
Read moreWe visited this cafeteria 2 years ago and it was great. I suspect it was the virus that forced a change since then. Fewer tables, spaced apart, but the big change is the old version had a buffet style of serving where you slid your tray down the line and pointed to what you want. You could SEE what you were ordering. Now you wait in a line at a couple of cash registers make you choices off of an overhead menu board ... think McD's. We didn't order any real food, since we couldn't see it. Just grabbed a banana and yogurt from the register counter. Fruit was fine, but worst yogurt EVER. Tapioca MAYBE. But tasteless and gritty. Sure hope they restore the old...
