Stopped in for dinner, we have one in Lexington, SC we visit on occasion, after a long day of exploring the surrounding area, as we do every Saturday. My son and I take 1-2 hour trips from Columbia to destinations he picks and selects historical, unique and public sites special to the community we visit. Ordered two hamburgers, fries-of course and strawberry shakes. Two people-$40+ dollars for two hamburger meals!
Jesus, did Ruth Chris select, cook and deliver the meat to the back and then OUR burgers were assembled. That is an absurd price. I ask my son as we left for the return trip to Columbia what he thought about the hamburger. It is always good, but I have had better for far less money. Maybe we should have grabbed one of those big bag of peanuts on the way out! By the way, the jalapenos were the hottest I have had in quite a while!!!
Everyone had a mask on, thank God the Trumplets didn't come for dinner. Overall good, but the $$$$ leave a bad taste in...
Read moreNormally, I love this franchise, my family and I eat at Five Guys frequently. I visited there yesterday when I took my mother and children out to lunch. The food wasn't as good as it normally is at other locations. The customer service by the blonde elderly lady is horrible and is the sole reason why i will never return and why i will warn others of this location. The burnet woman at the front was very nice and offered for the cooks to cut my children's cheeseburger for them, but upon opening the sandwich there was aluminum from the foil imbedded in the meat, cheese and bread from being cut after it was wrapped. I've worked in the food industry for years, and if i owned this location i would reevaluate their practices and take another look at their staffing choices. Customer service can ruin a business regardless...
Read moreWill never eat at this establishment again. I don’t post reviews, but the service I received there was beyond sub-par. I waited 30 mins for my fries to be “dropped.” I had to go inside myself let the staff know I was outside, after previously calling to inform them I was there for a curbside pick up order. The staff member tried to have me pay for a burger that was cold and hot fries. I then asked to speak to the manager. The manager then explains to me that the situation has been happening frequently and the best thing that she could do was give me the fries for free. I responded by telling her she could have the entire meal. I’m not paying my money for a partial meal that you have deemed as appropriate for me to pay. Corporate will be receiving a...
