This is a really cool addition to downtown Rock Hill. They just opened up, and they completely renovated one of the old historic buildings on White street (White Street, Whit's, get it???)... it's a small little building but has nice seating outside next to the Merchantile building (which was the old Coca Cola bottling plant!).
Friendly service, and the place is super clean (it's brand new inside!). The custard was reasonably priced, and they had a much larger selection than I thought they would. I saw several people buying different things so it appears business is good, but there wasn't a long wait.
Best of all, the Custard (What I would just call ice Cream) was really, really good. Like, better than you can buy at the grocery store good. I love seeing good businesses start up in these old buildings where they keep the charm of the old building but they modernize it to where a new business can use the space. This is a great addition to downtown, and I'll be back frequently!!!!

Read moreI love Whits Buckeye, but the portions here seem smaller than the Fort Mill location and the prices are about 20% more from menus posted on here. My girlfriend got a single scoop and I got a double, they were almost the same size. Came here again later in the week assuming I just got small scoops, nope, tiny portion for more money. Iâve heard that rent in these buildings is high but then again, the owner chose to go here. For less money I can get about 4 times the ice cream at Brusters or Handles. I get that itâs âcustardâ donât care if theyâre...

The place was spotless, the atmosphere was lively, and the food was absolutely delicious. Rock Hill is lucky to have Whits as part of our community. Since itâs a locally owned business, letâs show our support for this family. You wonât regret itâand youâll definitely be...
