I was so disappointed with this place. The reviews had me so excited for good Indian. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, an order of vegetable pakoras and samosas. They were out of samosas but still charged me for them. I didn’t notice till days later when I looked at my bank account. The chicken tikka masala was very bland, lacking almost all flavor. With the first bite it reminded me of a can of Campbell’s condensed tomato soup, that sort of weird sweet tin’y taste, very off putting. The chicken was clearly cooked separately and then added into the gross sauce, rather than cooked in the sauce giving it flavor and tenderness. The chunks of chicken were dry, flavorless and actually hard around the edges suggesting they sat out for awhile. The pakoras were overcooked and very dark, tasting of old oil. Again super bland, lacking any flavor. No mint chutney. I can’t speak to the samosas, except to say they were rather expensive seeing as they were non-existent. Indian is my favorite cuisine and I make it at home often. This was a complete waste of $32 plus the heartache of expecting delicious Indian takeout and getting...
Read moreThe food is served over a bed of rice, literally, which wasn't what we were expecting and which frankly is not how most places serve takeout. We expected the rice to be in separate containers as Indian food is eaten family style and different people might share a curry. And that's how they used to serve earlier.
We went back to see if something could be done, and the restaurant agreed to remake part of the order.
Oh well....
Suddenly, some random lady comes out of the kitchen and starts to point out why we're in the wrong and how she, being a student of anthropology, guarantees that restaurants serve food exactly as shown in pictures.
Please refrain from having people who are self-confessed not part of the establishment from entering the kitchen, and then coming out and lecturing and belittling customers on a misunderstanding that can and was being easily resolved.
This used to be our goto for Indian food on the Tilamook coast, and we have been here since this was a much smaller shack back in 2020.
But suffice to say we will never recommend this...
Read moreThree people working and not a single person acknowledged customers waiting at the window. After standing around for a little while, someone had to grab their attention by yelling loud enough for one of them to hear. My wait time after placing my order was 20 minutes, but, ended up waiting longer than that—which I thought was ridiculous for an order of chicken biryani (they had lots of to-go orders on their end).
Their chicken biryani was bit too bland for my liking, I enjoy eating Indian food and I’m familiar with the cuisine. Spice level was medium—but, it had a kick to it. The container they use were incredibly thin, and definitely isn’t microwave safe.
Overall experience wasn’t the greatest for me. Lots of good reviews—maybe, I came on the wrong night. I’ll stick to Indian restaurants I am familiar with.

I came back to try this place again, and I still didn’t like it. Service was still horrible. I ordered a lamb biryani wrap and got a rice bowl. I’m never coming...
