The food is fantastic, but if you are going in a large group, be aware that you may not get to sit for a very long time if at all. We tried calling ahead to inform them we had a group of 8 people coming, and were told that they do not take reservations and sending someone early would not work either. Our group showed up to the restaurant at 5pm figuring that with it being before the dinner rush that we would get a seat in a bit. We were told it would be a 40 minute wait. During our wait, we saw several groups of 4 or smaller come in and ask for a table and be sat quickly. After 45 minutes we asked for an update only to be told "oh uh. It'll be another 30 minutes probably." We were also told at that time that tables are filled on a first come first serve basis based on who fits. After another 10 minutes my father threw a fit with the manager who said he would get us a table. We continued to wait and after another 10 minutes asked for an update only to find out from one lady that the table the manager had cleared for us was being filled with a different group because we had been forgotten and they had to scramble to fix it. From then on our group was watched and the food was perfect (though my mom did have to wait for her food since they found it was over cooked and thus redid it before it ever made it to the table. It took a long while to be told that. ) and our waitress did wonderful service. She was kind and quick to help us if we needed anything. The staff in charge of seating also were not very concerned with how people felt and the manager told us during a discussion after the meal that they are really busy at 7pm so that could be some of the issue. I didn't point out that we had been waiting since 5. (There was a group of 11 people that had been there before us and didn't get to sit untill halfway through my family's meal after they too had complained. ) The food is great. Especially the longhorn and the artichoke dip. The new dessert (the chocolate stampede ) they have is really good too. So my take away is this: This is perfect if you are going on a date or a small group, but anything larger than 4 people seemed to have to wait a long time and only be seated after complaining. The wonderful food made up for some terrible front of house service, but complaints did not feel like they would be taken seriously of beyond just appeasing the immediate needs of the customer. I feel that if we went back again today, we would experience the same issue in getting seating.

My wife brought my daughter and I here to celebrate my birthday. We started off with some fresh baked bread and butter, and I had a mixed greens salad with honey mustard sauce. The salad was extremely good and refreshing. For drinks, we all went with strawberry lemonade, and it was also very fresh, sweet, and perfect for the occasion. I opted for the Renegade Sirloin and Redrock grilled shrimp, and for a side, I chose crispy Brussel sprouts. On the menu, this meal is described as a 6 oz. center-cut sirloin, paired with two skewers of Red Rock Grilled Shrimp, glazed with smoky tomato butter and served over rice. This is exactly what it was, and the sirloin was ordered medium rare. I can not express how good this meal was in words. Every bite left me salivating and longing for the next bite. The Brussel sprouts were a little too cooked, almost burnt, but saved by the honey, butter, Chipotle sauce they were drenched in. My wife ordered the hand breaded chicken tenders and a loaded baked potato, perfectly seasoned with a side of homemade ranch dressing. For our 5 year old, we ordered the Kid's Sirloin, well done, with a side of red grapes. My uncle would say steak sauce and barbecue sauce is not necessary when steak is cooked correctly. No sauce was required with any of these meals; they were excellent. Our server was also the best server we have had in the last 6 months. She was attentive and even took a photo of us to celebrate the special occasion. Service was top-notch. Last, they made me a birthday Sunday on a plate, wishing me a happy birthday. This is a wonderful place to celebrate with family, and I highly recommend it.

Last time we went to eat here (2 months ago, just saw the picture of the uneaten steak in my reels & it reminded me to warn others) we were seated and then it took 20 minutes for a server to come over and even see if we wanted water. We were literally starting to slide out of the booth to leave when the server finally greeted us for the first time. We order our meals. I got a ribeye medium, and left 3/4ths of it behind. Idk if they changed the steak seasoning or they used the wrong one seasoning or what, but it was inedible. I had my friend who will literally eat anything but roadkill try it and even he said it tasted weird/didn’t want to take it with. When the waiter finally comes back to check in, he asked if I wanted a box. I said no. He's like you sure, steak & eggs are good in the morning. I'm like it wasn't good tonight, its not worth wasting the box on. He said sorry and walked away. Tip, go to hyvee in janesville and get a dry aged Ribeye and do it yourself, 100x better and don't have to waste half your night trying to get a glass of water! Probably cheaper too

Here was my and my family's experience (Note: this was sent to the company via their webpage as well, and this would have been longer but I reached the maximum amount of characters allowed in the comment section)

Would just like to inform you personally of my family and I's experience at your Rockford location on 9/9/17. When we first arrived we went to the bar while waiting for our pager to go off. We were not even acknowledged by the bartender because she was busy putting a to go order in for a customer who placed the order by phone and when she got there she found out that the staff had "forgotten" to put her order into the computer. Fast forward to when we were seated at our table and had placed our order. We had 6 people at our table, 5 ordered Caesar salads and one ordered french onion soup to start. The french onion soup was sent back because it was warm at best, and one salad was sent back due to the fact that it was only lettuce. (Mind you this was a Caesar salad so that means no croutons, no cheese, and no dressing were with this salad.) So after these mess ups were corrected , our entree comes out. There were 5 steaks ordered and one salmon ordered. Four out of 5 steaks were sent back because they were ice cold along with the shrimp that came with them, the 5th steak would have gone back but my brother was too hungry to wait for the restaurant to fix another mistake. The salmon was luke warm at best but was eaten anyways because again they did not want to wait for the restaurant to fix the mistake. Now, after everything was brought back out the experience did not get any better. Every steak, and yes I mean all 5, we so ridiculously salty that i could have thrown it out in the woods and the deer wouldn't have licked it. I honestly felt my arteries clogging every bite. Finally, after choking down one of the worst steaks I have ever had and we are leaving, I can hear my dad telling the manager how God awful the food was and that we will not be back, and this manager has the nerve to sit there and laugh as if this is some kind of joke! If I were you folks I would seriously take some initiative and fix your Rockford location or it wont...

Beautiful place and clean like all Longhorns we've been to. It took Quite a long time for the waitress to come take our drink orders but once she did she was very kind and came back to check on us often the problem came when I ordered a filet steak. I ordered it medium. My meal came out and it was terrible. Well done and didn't even resemble a filet. Never in my life have I seen a steak like this they called a filet. When I questioned it they reassured Me that it was indeed a filet and that they don't make mistakes like that This steak was actually a filet I have never seen anyone cut a filet that thin. It doesn't make sense to cut a good steak that thin.. then it was absolutely ridiculous the manager proceeded to tell me that it was a stake that they would normally use for a well done steak so that all the orders come out at the same time this was a $27 stake absolutely horrible so she said I'll make you a new one you can take it with you she said they should have used that thin steak for a well done steak and not a medium steak so she proceeded to remake the steak It looked OKI took it home terrible absolutely terrible the flavor was bad I have never had this bad of an experience at any steak place. The baked potato was not warm in the middle. My whole meal was ruined and the new steak they made was not good. Our meal was almost $90. Im not sure if I can go back again. Its a shame because I've been to Longhorns all over the states and never had a problem. I took a picture because I couldn't believe how thin it was and how they were passing it off as a filet. I know my steak it was absolutely NOT a filet it was sirloin. Neither steak tasted like a filet and they didn't even taste like a...
