I would give zero stars for the customer service if I could. I was just here with my husband at 4:45pm, July 11th. We ordered a peanut butter sundae. When my husband brought the sundae to the car I noticed there was barely any peanut butter sauce. I was disappointed so, he took the sundae back to the counter and kindly asked for a little more peanut butter sauce (and showed the employee how little sauce was on it). She was a younger woman, who was just about to add more PB sauce when a woman who appeared to be in her late 40s shouted at my husband, said “No! no! don’t do that” to the other young employee, and told us the pb sauce is pre portioned and she would not be helping us. There was another employee present, who witnessed this and told her “you’re not being nice”. My husband then asked for a refund and she slammed the order window door in his face. Not only did she treat us like absolute garbage, but was extremely volatile and disrespectful in doing so. I’ve never experienced such horrible customer service in my life. That is not how you speak to people. At the very least we would have paid for extra pb sauce but after being yelled at, we do not want to give this particular location any of our hard earned money. I will never be back and recommend to those I know not to support this unprofessional business. I suggest driving a little further down the road to Dormans. They treat their customers with respect and make much...
Read moreMy son ordered ice cream and chicken tenders, as he has done several times before. We have ALWAYS been given the ice cream before the food. So after seeing 2 folks behind him receive their ice cream ahead of him he went up to the window after standing there for 10 minutes, and asked where is ice cream was. Instead of the manager (?) handling it professionally, she flipped off at the mouth saying the ice cream is always given at the same time as the food (lie) and then proceeding to tell him that she'll not give him any food at all and give him his money back simply because he disagreed with her! That is NOT how it should have been handled, at all! You, Missy, need to be retrained in customer service! First of all you should ALWAYS ask if the customer wants the ice cream first or with the food! Did you stop to think their might be another person in the car, as I was, that the ice cream was for?! Obviously not! Secondly, because a customer disagrees with you, you NEVER threaten to simply not serve them!!!! Unless you are being threatened or cussed out, have you not been taught that THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT?! The mentality of Rockland has gone so downhill in many ways, it's horrible. You, Missy, yes I'm being sarcastic, need to be retrained, find another job, or be FIRED! You handled the situation completely wrong! And it's not the first time I've, we've experienced...
Read moreBe advised that this franchisee has just introduced mobile app ordering. You can no longer judge your wait time by the length of the line out front. Even if there is no line at the order window you may be 8th or 9th in line and have an extended wait ahead of you while mobile app customers and food delivery services come and go as you wait. We arrived at the order window at 11:10am and were left waiting there for about ten minutes before our order was even taken while the two person crew struggled to process what were obviously mobile app orders (they have even installed a separate mobile app pick-up window to facilitate this type of business). 20 minutes after ordering—30 minutes total-- and at least 7 mobile orders filled while we waited, the server apologized for our wait (just has he did automatically for all the walk-up orders). Be forewarned—walk-up customers are now the lowest priority and placed at the back of the electronic line so that this business can conceal the actual wait times produced by electronic customers who are no longer required to wait their turn. We’ll be avoiding any business which chooses this...
