Fresco's Seaside — Restaurant in Rockport

We walked into Frescos Seaside restaurant at around 7 pm after a day at Long Beach. The girls at the counter were very friendly. Looked very clean. We ordered right away. No line at that time. You can order from the takeout window or go inside either one We just stayed in. You can also sit outside. There’s a few little tables, but there’s also a beautiful park that you can walk to right there and eat out there. Or Walk across the street and sit at a few benches looking at the ocean waves. The fish and chips (fries) with coleslaw were nice and light and fresh - delicious. The lobster roll was wonderful my daughter in law said. My husband got the steak and cheese. He said it was mouthwatering. And my son got the fish sandwich with tartar sauce and pickles. he said it was very good. Also the coconut shrimp app was crisp and very good.There’s even a kids menu.😁 I spoke to the chef On our way out and told him how happy we were with everything and he said thank you very much. We appreciate it. I said I hope you stay in business and it really works out for you for a long time. It was a much needed spot in Rockport. They also stay open until 9 PM which is great. We will definitely be going back again when we have visitors. I took a day trip with my family to Rockport. We had a beach day in front of Front Beach and noticed Fresco’s Seaside. The place was so cute and clean, the food was amazing, and best of all, they had an amazing view and I was able to hang out with my dog while enjoying my food due to their outside patio.

I had the Louisiana style clams, the were to die for. The clam bellies were fresh and crispy. We tried both the hot and cold lobster roll and it was amazing. Their fresh coconut was very refreshing and sweet. We came with a family of 5, and love how their menu offers a variety of seafood, clubs, subs, and sandwiches. My dad had the chicken parm and he said very flavorful. To top off the amazing experience, we finished it off with popsicles and slushes.

The food is excellent, especially the fried haddock sandwiches. Haddock is lightly battered, cooked in fresh oil - not overcooked, flaky and not oily. Plentiful, generous portion. Lettuce was crispy and juicy. Cole slaw was excellent.

The frozen drinks are great - both watermelon and piña colada seem to be just natural ingredients, no additives or syrups or anything, just high quality, refreshing and delicious.

The customer service person I ordered from was very helpful as far as my allergies and brought me the bread to make sure I could eat it.
