Dino's Bar — Restaurant in Rogers Park Township

I thought this was going to be my new go-to bar but yesterday I was told that we weren’t allowed to use playing cards inside the bar. I asked the (owner?) why and he said it’s because his boss thinks we’re gambling with money. We were playing a drinking game with the cards and I made it very clear there was no money involved. Still, we were told we couldn’t use the cards. Keep in mind, this was after we bought two pitchers of beer. They sell liquor and it’s a bar. Super nice bartenders, drinks are cheap and it’s well kept! The decor is what you’d usually find at a bar but it definitely makes it feel like a bar so I enjoyed the atmosphere. My vegas bombs were amazingly delicious. Jukebox and a pool table. ATM if you need it. $10 minimum for using a card but my two vegas bombs covered that real easy. Highly recommend if you just want a dive feeling and need something quick, cheap, yet good...

Mike the owner is very attentive to customers needs. I lived in the area 15 years ago. It was my local place to have a beer after work and play pool. Customers are very friendly, bartenders are always on top of it all. They have your standard bags of chips and such, but there’s a little Mexican Restaurant right next with the bomb burritos. Dinos let's you bring in outside foods. When I visit Chicago it's a must I go and say hi and play pool.
