So let me say, this was our first visit to a Busters We were greeted upon arrival inside. Told 45_1hr wait for a table. For 2 people. We were goven a text to keep an eye on where we were on the wait list. They didn't tell us how to get a card to play, no signs to explain anything. While checking out the games, we saw several empty tables. We continued to just walk around games and still 15 mins later still same empty tables. We decided to not paly games and just stand and wait for OUR table. Well 1hour came and went. Let me say we seen tables of 4 get sat before us. That we were there before them... mind you we was standing at front waiting. 1 hour 10 mins finally a table.. it took our waitress 5 mins to get to us.. yay! We thought.. we explained it was our first experience here and wanted some feed back on menu. Well the hostess said i could get the sliders with no carmelized onions. Well the server delightfully told us no she was wrong and that they are baked inside the sliders. She went got our drinks. A water/lemon and a coke. I decided on sliders and he on the same. Got an appetizer of pretzal dogs. Waited 35 mins on food! That came out cold, and burned so hard on burgers that it was hard to break. French fries were cold!! And the appetizer was luke warm. When a diffrent sever asked if all was okay i made him feel my French fries that we had just received. He said let me go find Josh. The management on duty. Our severer finally refilled his water 10 mins after waiting with it empty. Then said i talked to him your whole meal was free! Wow free? The management never came to us, said sorry, or even try to resolve it himself. Made the sever do it. . We left hungry and with a Busters card to go play games. Really?!?! Go play games? That was the fix? 2 hours for warm pretzel dogs and water and a coke with hard burgers ?! I told them i didnt want the card nor will we be back! Wish i would have pictures of the hard burgers! Management, i am a manager and i dont have my workers do the dirty job for me... and my man is a GM and he would never have a employee of crew fix! This is poor management training! Ps. Let me say the table next to us had a 8 top, kids recived food 10 minutes before adults did.. unless that was asked for the kids were done before adults. That is outrageous! We have 5 children and if we were to bring them here i would NEVER have them served first! Our 5 would be so ready to go! Now they did have plenty of sports games on for the game viwers pleasure! But the music which had no rhmye or reason could be muffled with the games in back ground. Just not what i expected of a restaurant. And all we wanted was...
Read moreWhere to begin....if I could give zero or negative stars, I would. We have been to the D&B in STL many times and it is always great so we were very excited to have one in NWA. Don't waste your time money. My guess would be poor management because it all starts at the top. We were sitting close to the bar, facing the kitchen so we could basically see everything going on around us. Ordered an app and our daughters kids meal with the drinks as soon as we arrived. Ordered a meal 10 or 15 minutes later. The meal came about 25 minutes after we ordered but before the app and kids meal which took another 10-15 minutes. I asked the server when she finally came over how long the ticket was and she said "Um, I think 17 minutes?".... wrong but I think she was shocked that I asked. I understand long tickets especially since there was a large party before us because I watched the expo get the food on trays, but the server ignored our table because she was either a bad server or she was afraid to come over because our ticket was so long. Not one apology from her or a manager...ever. And the managers.....well, I saw at least 4 walking around which is great but not really sure what any of them were doing . One female manager with short hair was behind the bar the entire time we were there, making drinks while there were 4 bartenders literally standing there doing nothing. Nothing!! At one point, the female manager was standing in front of the server printer with her arms folded, facing the kitchen and completely oblivious to a expo window full of food!! I now understand why there wasn't a wait on a Saturday night. So, so, so terrible. I wanted to pay for our 2 drinks and leave before the food even came but couldn't find our server. So a bit of advice if any employees read this, when your guests are waiting a long time for their food, get a manager involved immediately. AND DON'T IGNORE YOUR TABLES!! Interact...apologize....if you ignore them, it just seems like the food is taking even longer and pisses the guests off even more than they already are. Read moreDave n Busters is only good for one thing and that’s their games. Every single time no matter the location the dining is the worse part of my experience. Tonight my fiancé and I went to go waste some time and grab some dinner. The games were good, they had a decent selection, however at least 2 games took credits from my card and didn’t work. The first time I did receive my credits back but by the second time I was over it.
After we spent most of our credits we decided to grab some food. The location of the table wasn’t great but waiters/waitresses seemed sparse. The games were extremely loud (obviously), but the tv’s were so loud I couldn’t hear my fiancé who was sitting right next to me over everything going on.
Our appetizer came out 3 minutes before our food. Our waiter was seen touching his hair/face/and the back of his neck without washing his hands, then going and touching peoples plates/ food. We were halfway through our meal before he even check in on us after dropping it off. There was another server slamming things and acting extremely immature in front of customers. He was messing up tickets, and served a kids meal we had seen sitting under their heat lamps for 15-20 minutes. Both him and our server were doing absolutely nothing while we were waiting for food, not checking on other tables or anything. They both stood by the counter sipping their drinks. A manager of some sort came out for 2 minutes then disappeared. By the time our food came out we hurried to finish eating and leave. The hostess was the only one seating, seemed to be doing bussers work as well, which both our servers could have been doing, since the table behind us remained dirty for 20 minutes. Then when it came time to pay our bill got messed up redeeming a free burger, and the payment tablet showed we owed 23 dollars. Our server went to “ask his manager”, and legitimately stopped to refill his drink at the machine and grab a to go box for another table with his drink still in his hand. THEN went to go “ask his manager”. To top it off we also had to ask for a to go box for OUR food after the payment was settled.
