Anne Marie, the manager of this location, is the best possible person for her role. Caring for her customer comes naturally, which may seem like no big deal, but as a business owner, I highly appreciate amazing customer service, and she's got it. She introduced me to Chacos two years ago, showed me how to loosen and tighten everything. Basically she taught me why so many people love the brand. Because of her amazing customer service, we came back and purchased a pair for everyone in the family. Two and a half years pass, she sells me some other shoes, then tragedy strikes. The sole of my Chacos split wide open while we're roadtripping to Michigan. I come back, show her the shoes, she contacts her rep, and I get a brand spanking new pair at no cost because of the Chacos warranty. The hands-down, best in-store, retail shopping experience my husband and I have had in years. Kudos to Erin, the salesperson that helped us, actually helped us, yesterday. She was positive, proactive, pleasant, and professional. I wish there were more retail associates that exhibited those traits when helping customers. As far as Gearhead the store: yes they carry products that will cost you more money. The reason the products cost more is because of the quality, high standards and outstanding warranties that come with most of those products. If low cost is the sole factor, then we all know there are plenty of big box stores with low quality merchandise available to choose from in this area. Sometimes you get what you pay for. Went in today to buy my first pair of Chacos, and I was just expecting a simple select and purchase process. Anne Marie greeted me at the door and helped me so much from start to finish. She explained the different types of Chacos, let me try on as many different styles as I wanted, showed me the proper ways to loosen and tighten the straps (whoa!), and was so cheerful and engaging through the whole experience- I mean, she even put the shoes on my feet.
