Krispy Kreme — Restaurant in Rohnert Park

🛑 STOP! This is not a real Krispy Kreme Doughnut shop. Let me first say that if this is the only Krispy Kreme doughnut you have tried, then you haven’t really had one, give a different shop a try and you’ll see what I mean.

I was so excited to see we were getting a Krispy Kreme within an hour from home. We first went just before Christmas and after driving in and waiting in line we were told they didn’t have any glazed doughnuts (their signature doughnut) only a very limited amount in the case. I was told the machine was being repaired. Disappointed but not going to let me down we ordered a couple dozen to go. Excited I busted into them right when we got home. I bit into a stale, dry doughnut!?! I thought, wait, this isn’t a Krispy Kreme doughnut, so I threw it out and tried another. It was also just as terrible. We ended up throwing the rest in the garbage. I chalked it up to maybe they were having a problem with their equipment, or because they were new. Just in disbelief I guess. Well today we finally made it back and purchased one dozen regular glazed and an assorted dozen. Got home, ate dinner and wasn’t going to wait for the am to get me some delicious goodness. I bit into it and was in total disbelief. This is not a delicious, soft, melt in your mouth Krispy Kreme doughnut! This is some sort of disgusting joke. This isn’t even as good as a bad day old grocery store doughnut. I apologize to the grocery stores that actually do have good doughnuts, I know you’re out there. At least you don’t have to worry about this Krispy Kreme’s taking any doughnut business from you. Someone needs to do some serious quality control here. There is something really...

We Love Krispy Kreme and we're excited to discover this new location that's actually closer to our home. We purchased a dozen glazed donuts and it dozen filled donuts. The glazed donuts were fresh and delicious but we were very disappointed with the lack of filling in our cookies and cream donut. As you can see in the photo the filling was smaller than a small marble. The strawberry shortcake filled donut was only filled about a quarter of the way full but the New York cheesecake filled donut was up to par and was delicious. We are excited to know that this place is here now and we hope that next time we come back the donuts are filled properly. I purchased the cookies and cream donut as a gift for my fiance and we were very disappointed to find that it did not have hardly any inside after I drove it four and a half hours north to my home. Drive through hours state 10pm on Google maps. This is incorrect as when I went to the location at 9:45PM I was told by the drive through attendant that the closing hours for both the drive through and the lobby are 9:00PM. Can't suggest new drive through hours through Google Maps, only standard hours. This needs to be updated by the business owner.

Also a bit misleading to leave the AI order taking kiosk for the drive through operational and taking orders only to pull up to the window AFTER ordering to find that the facility is indeed closed. Drive through should state that facility is closed and not take orders.

UPDATE: Have relayed the same information in this review through the Krispy Kreme corporate contact portal as suggested by the owner response. Hopefully the drive through hours get updated...
