McDonald's — Restaurant in Romulus

Its getting so old leaving McDonald's in the order being wrong or stuff missing or what have you and workers complain still of wanting $15 an hour but it says sweet and sour on the receipt for sauce and there is two barbecue sauces I thought it was required to be able to read? But this goes with people who don't care about the customers they care about a pay check but if it was there order you better believe in be right, it's just getting old the chicken nuggets taste like they were two days old and dried out I have a drink with no straw no napkins and my son has allergies and thank God HE CAN READ before he ate it, The only good) thing was the fries were fresh! It's been happening more and more not just this McDonald's and I haven't been complaining but this time I was Fed Up it's late I was tired and I called the 1885 number to let him know how they're doing! The prices of gthis food anymore I want what I paid for not what you feel like giving me!!😠 Even in the picture you can tell they look old and dried up. If they can't manage putting sauces napkins or straws in the bag which is probably every order why would I want you to have $15 an hour there's people that go to college that don't get $15 an hour I don't even think police officers get $15 an hour and they put their life on the line every day fire men put their life on the line when we can't even manage to go to McDonald's order right it just blows my...

The only reason this McDonald’s is still open is because of the airport, plus neighborhood traffic. It’s certainly not customer service and good food. 2 vehicles in drive thru and I swear it felt like 3 lifetimes went by. You’re never greeted with a hi how are you today with a smile. When you pull up. A mumbling can I help you. I give my mobile app code. Pull up she says. I’m greeted with the back of her head on the cellphone. 10 seconds later she prints a receipt without looking at me and hands it to me. No eye contact. The managers are worse. One of them is a black lady with glasses with a black surgical mask half way on her face. She was asking me questions and I couldn’t understand her because her mouth was covered and her back was turned to me. She seem to love her position even though she lacks leadership skills. No one says have a nice day after being serviced. It’s like they can’t wait for you to leave. One thing is for sure. They laugh and joke with each other. I waited 20 minutes for a frappe order that I ordered from app. When I get to the window, they’re laughing and playing. Little girl ask what was your order? I replied frappe. She hands it to me and that was that. She went back to the laughter of her coworkers. I guess my being a customer assuring job security is irrelevant. They have a great location and that’s why they get away with it. The location...

Manager (didn’t get name, there were a couple so I will specify... the militaristic/ drill sergeant black woman) is rude and doesn’t give the most basic customer service... no hello, no may I take your order, no thank you. She also insults here subordinates. A high school teen (often put down in some of these reviews.... but no doubt a least having a measure of civility &/or humility) could handle the front register better. Obviously she hates her job & probably her life in general.... this isn’t unusual as I have passed through in the past taking people places.

I was never going to make a review until I finally came inside to sit down for myself for once and learned that there is no attempts at pest control. At least half a dozen flies have been attacking me. These may be the source of the sicknesses reported in some of these reviews.

There’s no attempts at controlling them and it’s not even warm outside. It may have something to with their open trash cans. The gospel music is loud and unnecessary, esp. for a Thursday.

Although I will still be required to pass by this location in the future, in the name of service and hygiene I will be going out of my way if I have to stop at McDonald’s again.... and a note to the Mgr. who tolerates this filth while getting their gospel on: “Holiness is next...
