I really like this place until today. Walked in and usually get the Grilled Chicked Club, however I mentioned to the cashier that if I can get half a sandwich, She mentioned the "choose 2" deal. It turns out that it's a rip off. I paid for HALF sandwich and chips $9.19 where normally I get FULL sandwich and chips for same price. When I asked the lady wearing red tshirt, she said "I am sorry, this is what they train us and we can't do anything to change that." As a previous Restaurant operations manager who worked in the States, Dubai and Caribbean, I see this as a RIP OFF by misleading people into buying the "Choose 2" with more money and LESS VALUE for McAllister to make more money. It is a nickel and dime business and for every 100 people that is extra $100 in your pocket. I mentioned to your manager that a cashier should be more informative, explain, and recommend menu items to the customers. However I am sure you trained them to sell more so you can make numbers. That is the difference between HOSPITALITY and SERVICE. You will make an extra $1 today but you lost me and my partner with $20 every time we come and spend. Here is how your manager should've responded, but unfortunately I can see your training is more like DO IT MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY. "I DO APOLOGIZE FOR THE MISCOMMUNICATION, I WOULD LIKE TO MAKE IT UP FOR YOU AND OFFER YOU SOMETHING, THE OTHER HALF OF THE SANDWICH, A DRINK OR A COOKIE. WOULD THAT BE OK? AS YOU KNOW WE CONSIDER YOU AS A VALUABLE CUSTOMER AND WE DON'T WANT YOU TO LEAVE UNSATISFIED WITH OUR BRAND." Unfortunately she didn't care to even try. But hey, that's your training!! The difference between management and leadership is a manager do things right, in contrary leaders do the right thing. My last time for me and partner. You lost a repeated customer, and you can keep your extra $1 with your $2 OFF. Best regards.

I ordered the ultimate nachos; chili, cheese, olives, avocado, sour cream, shredded cheese, and tomatoes. First, they gave me a bunch of crumbs for chips. Second, they mixed the chili and cheese in one small bowl instead of separating them like they usually do. Third, they put the avocado, olives, shredded cheese and tomatoes all in one container instead of separating them. I asked them to separate my chili and cheese because I don’t remember asking for them to be combined. They separated them and it wasn’t even enough to cover the amount of crumbs (chips) they gave me. I got less than an half a cup of chili and less than an half a cup of cheese and 3 jalapeños. This is the same size cup they tried to combine the chili and cheese together in. Mind you, this was supposed to be a shareable appetizer but it was hardly enough for me to eat on my own. Trash.

McAlister’s Deli is remodeled and looks very modern and nice. The meals are very enjoyable. I love that they have soups, salads, sandwiches, and spuds. And you can mix and match by ordering a “Choose Two.” The McAlister’s Famous Sweet Tea is excellent, and is served in a huge container. Plus, the beverage dispensers are now out on the front counter so you can get your own refills. The menu is up on the wall, and the employees are helpful. When you dine-in, they give you a table number and deliver your order to your table. Still no free WiFi though. There's ample parking, especially that they have a corner spot. I worked part time at this trash place a while back. When it got slow they ALWAYS sent workers home early. So since I had 2 jobs and was the low man on the totem pole I'd get sent home and I was cool with it. So one day I fell I'll at work and I asked a supervisor (main office) if it was OK if I left and she said no problem. I stressed to her I would stay if needed because I needed the job, and she said oh yes it's okay, no worries.. So the next day I go in and I can't clock in, I asked that blonde supervisor what the deal was and she said all dramatic "there's a reason for that!" So I follow her to the office and she hands me a paper to sign, stating I was being terminated for missing too much work. I said are you serious, I asked if I could go home because I was ill and was told it was perfectly fine. She said I left early other times as well and I told her because business was slow and you SENT me home (maybe 3 times in 3 months). She didn't care and demanded I sign a termination paper. Lol So I got it, ripped it to pieces and threw it in her face. Lol She then yelled "gEt oUt oF mA oFfiCe"... I cussed at her as I was leaving in front of customers and yelled you are only mad at me because I won't sleep with you. She was som embarrassed when all the customers started staring at her. Lmao

I think the messy wenchs name was Samantha, if I am not mistaking. She...

I travel a great deal and I enjoy healthier options. McAlister Deli is usually a great place to grab lunch. But for some reason the location close to my home always messes up my order. I don't know why they bother to have the option to request a pickle spear on the app when I never get it. I have always gotten one at the location in McAllen TX and other places up north. But in this location in Rosenberg, they haven't included it once.

I had order #150629. I had to let them know they didn't pack me the soup I ordered. I was practically insulted that the girl behind the counter seemed to doubt it wasn't in the bag, as if I would come up to the register with the bag just to lie about it. My wife's half a sandwich was twice as large as mine. It was odd since the last time my sandwich was a fair size as it usually is at McAlister's. But today it was very small. In previous visits they've forgotten forks, salad dressing, and even a sandwich. I don't understand why this location seems to have issues with accuracy. I may need to find an alternative. Especially since I add tip when I did not receive service for me to tip for. We tip when we are waited on and our food is accurately brought to us and our drinks are refilled. Still, I tipped but didn't get the...
