I hardly ever write reviews, but this one definitely deserves one. Every time we go to subway I never get a receipt but today something told me to get it. After we sat down I decided to look at my receipt and I was surprised. I was charged for a "kids pack", it wasn't much, it was only $1.89 (I did order a kids meal for our daughter and that was $5.19). I asked my husband if he's ever seen that before and he hasn't either. He went to ask the worker about it, who was working tonight 03/10/24 who had blond hair (I didn't get her name), and her response was "I don't know what that is, my manager told me to put that charge on for everyone who orders a kids meal". Excuse me?! Then she came up to my husband and said "this is what the $1.89 was for" she then shows my husband a paper toy. A Paper Toy!!! We paid an extra $2 for a paper toy that can be destroyed in a minute. It's ridiculous. For all the families who orders a kids meal from Subway, ALWAYS ask for the receipt to make sure they didn't scam you for more money. Times are tough right now, so I wanted to make sure everyone is aware of this scam subway is doing. ALSO the worker I had mentioned in this review was also breathing all over the food as well.
Another thing I forgot to mention, she did give me a refund but they way she did it was EXTREMELY SUSPICIOUS! She gave me lose change (the change that customer's wouldn't want) and she went to the back to get the rest of the change out of the other coworkers wallets. My husband even asked her to just refund it back to the card and she denied it saying "I can't do that because my manager would ask questions about it, like why did you refund money?" I have never been to a place that doesn't refund the money from their actual registers. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS...
Read moreJust left there from picking up a takeout order. Arrived approximately 15 minutes after the order(3) customers were served while I waited in line. After the last order was finished the woman behind the counter grabbed my take out ticket and hurriedly started finishing the order and handed off to the cashier. Then she asked for my ordered and I told her it was the one she had just slapped together and handed off to the cashier. All I got when I asked what was the point of offering pickup service if people had to come in and wait in line. I got two hollow "i'msorry". She wasn't sorry. Had she been sorry she would have at least offered a coupon or something. No, all you get is a disengenuos apology. Fast food people all want $15/hr-just to show up to the job. The franchisee's all whine about how COVID19 destroyed their businesses, when in actuality they were on life support and COVID19 just pulled the plug. Ordered online I got here as she was finishing. Checked my sandwich when I got in the car and it was dry. I like wet sandwiches and I made sure to add enough sauces to avoid my sandwich being dry and I didn’t even see all of my sauces on there. Okay cool I’ll just ask for it on the side.
I went back in to ask for sauce on the side and the Hispanic female who made my sandwich began saying something to her coworker and would glance back up at me because obviously you know I’m watching you say something about me. I didn’t even ask for the rest of the sauces I wanted because I’m not fond of being rude to people. So I took what I got and just left. Won’t return if I’m ordering online.
