I have known this to be a Rosenberg favorite and have come here throughout the years as well. I just left there and am really disappointed and unsatisfied with the service. The food was great but the cashier was very unpleasant. He was really short in how he responded to customers and wasn't very friendly. I feel when working at a restaurant, if you're going to be a cashier, you should at least have a smile or be friendly. This guy was neither. On top of dealing with the mediocre customer service, we paid over $40 for a 2 meat plate and 2 loaded baked potatoes but received one small container of bbq sauce. I wish I had checked it but I didn't, however, we had 3 plates of food so they could've at least gave us 3 bbq sauces. Maybe it was a mistake, sure, but given the customer service I experienced, I think maybe they don't care. I'm not one to complain, I'm very empathetic but it was so obvious doing a great job isn't important. Collecting a check is more important than customer service and that's not the impression a customer should leave with. Idc how loved or well known an establishment is, customers are why you exist and their satisfaction...
Read moreI ordered from the drive thru on 11/25/2024. The guy who took my order was very please and had excellent customer service. So, the review started at a 5 based on his customer service.
I ordered a baked potato w/chopping block meat and peach cobbler. After digging into this food, everything went south. The peach cobbler was so mushy and tasted like it was days old. It didn't even have a peach cobbler flavor, and I've never eaten peach cobbler with mushy crust. It was so mushy as if it had been sitting in water. Whomever made this, needs to use a different recipe or never be allowed to cook peach cobbler again. It was disgusting, respectfully.
You probably can't tell from the picture but the baked potato is huge, and it was satisfying. Their bbq sauce, not sure if it's their own recipe or not,...
Read moreI have been a loyal customer for over 39 years. I have judged Bar-B-Que competitions and have used Schulze's ribs as a baseline for quality. However, the last 3 visits have been a total disappointment and a travesty to boot. The last 3 visits, 2 in drive-thru, have resulted in brisket that is overcooked, tough, and desert dry. Have to soak it with a drink in order to get it down, and noted that it looked like it had dried-out like it had been in the refrigerator uncovered all day. Wound up throwing it away after eating less than half. The baked potato salad that I crave was also dry and unpalatable. Sad to say, this is my last trip. It's like saying goodbye to an old friend. Some good news however, is that Witt Pit Bar-B-Que is right down the street and offers consistently...
