Ok, I have to be honest, I didn't know that this place even existed until my brother stopped by with a box of their hot stacks. I thought they looked like nothing special but boy was I wrong. I went by Saturday morning early and went inside to see display cases full of exotic donuts and cronuts with optional injectable fillings for certain pastries. I personally have been on a quest for the best Devils Food cake donuts and have tried them all for miles around and this place hands down are the best. There are two types of Devils food donuts here, one with chocolate glaze and one regular glaze. The regular glaze was in my opinion better than the chocolate glaze as it proved to be less sweeter and a truer chocolate cake donut. The texture was near perfect and had an excellent finish. Their old fashioned donuts were cooked perfectly too and had the usual glazed varieties on hand. My only concern is that some of the donuts and cronuts are over frosted or glazed as some were too sweet for my taste and I wasn't looking to become a diabetic from them. I'd love to see if they could offer plain glazed cronuts without anything else on them, but I understand that the unusual topped cronuts are their trademark. I will definitely be going back soon and trying others items. The stacks are worth stopping for all by themselves. Check em out, you won't be...

I love Bad Bakers and am totally addicted. It really is the BEST bakery in the Sacramento area, hands down, for donuts and lunch/dinner snacks. Their donuts are unique creations that are always fresh and super delish. Their kronuts (croissant donut) are absolutely amazing, best donut I've ever tried. The kronut holes with Nutella are my favorites. I also like that they serve mochi donuts, in addition to cake, crueller and injectible donuts.

The Roseville Bad Bakers location near Sutter hospital is hands down the best Bad Bakers location in Sacramento that I have visited. The food is always cooked to perfection, especially the empanadas and hot dog kolache. I live closer to the Folsom Bad Bakers, but the Folsom location is not as consistent with the empanadas. Whenever we visit the Roseville location, the baddest baker of them all, Sheree, is always super friendly and cooks everything to literal perfection. My only complaint is that her free sample of the Staxx got me legitimately addicted. Hope that Bad Bakers does extremely well and the franchise explodes because I cant live without it, thats why I wrote this review. We need a Bad Bakers...

The plan was to go get some dinner from Tandori Nights which is a few doors down from Bad bakers. My friend has been to Bad Bakers before, she has been there numerous times and said I should try it so we did.

My friend raved about the bread rolls specifically, they have a sweet glaze on them. I was not expecting them to be that good but I was pleasantly surprised. They also make donuts with a shot, I did not get a chance to try them but I will for sure the next time I am in Roseville. I took the tolls home and my family liked them a lot. Due to covid the rules are just three customers go in at a time. I could tell they were really popular because I saw customers were buying about two boxes each. Once we got in a line a few more people got there and we were all waiting, it was not that long of a wait so it was fine. I could tell that they were definitely a popular place which is of course an indication that there stuff is good. They also sold some merchandise at the store which consisted of shirts, some mugs and I think some bottles also. I forgot to take photos of that also, but next...

I came for the doughnuts but left IN LOVE with the staxx. The fresh staxx were served warm with a buttery sugar coating that is to DIE FOR. I almost didn't try them because they didn't seem interesting to me but oh my god am I glad I tried them! I ate five out of the twenty!! I chose the six doughnut and 20 staxx combo which was $24. The six doughnuts were really good, especially the yeast ones. They were soft and pillowy and fresh. I didn't love all the crazy toppings but the strawberry and plain yeast ones were great. They also come with a choice of filling to go with the doughnuts. We chose Bavarian cream, dulce de leche, and Oreo whip. Again, try the fresh staxx, they are worth it! I bought some pre-bagged ones to go but they aren't hot. But, they seem fine enough for if you plan to eat them later. The fresh hot ones should be eaten right away - you won't regret it!

This place is amazing. We came for breakfast and the wait was very short. The shop is small and there is no indoor seating but the outdoor seating between BAD Bakers and Starbucks is quite pretty. My brother got the party time donut and he loved it! When you bite into the donut, you get an unexpected surprise! I won’t spoil it. You can fill your own donut, they put the syringe in the box for you. Each of us got two donuts, and we were a group of three. Two donuts was good enough for everybody and there are drinks to choose from as well— water, Snapple, milk, soda, Starbucks drinks. It wasn’t expensive either. I’d definitely come again and recommend this to anyone who is thinking about it.
