I ordered food from them today. They said my card was declined. Weird because I have money. Even more weird is they charged my card. I spoke to young lady who was among the most unprofessional people I've ever had the displeasure of speaking to. She said said she doesn't know what I'm talking about and literally hung up on me. I called back and somehow , she was even more angry than the first time. I explained, once again, that I paid for an order and after suggesting that she check if my order was available she said "No! I don't have your order!" I asked if she'd like my name to make sure she doesn't have it. She said sure. Long story less long, she told me to call customer support. I said I'm on your website and there is no customer support number. She said, "Well if you look online you can probably find it." Then she hung up...again.
I called the corporate number and they gave me the "customer support" number. Unsurprisingly, the number does not have a person available to answer calls. Not only that, but it's just a recording that literally says the mailbox is full so you cannot leave a message.
I called the corporate number back and they said they'd send an email to the "customer support" division asking them to contact me. No response. I paid $47.53 today for nothing. My bank can't refund it for obvious reasons. My suggestion to people is to not order food from this scam business. I'd like to say this is an outlier, but it's literally the 2nd time this has happened to me, the last time was about 2 years ago. I kind of forgot about it, but I was reminded of it today. Boudin is a shameful company and they do not care about stealing money from customers.
Boudin, you are a horrible company. You owe me nearly $100 from my last 2 orders and you make it impossible to communicate with you. I'll never order from you again and I will be following up on the theft you committed once again. You need to...
Read moreI went to Boudin for my first time this past Saturday and purchased two california veggie sandwiches and one turkey and havarti sandwich. The turkey sandwich cost $.20 LESS than the veggie sandwich - I figured avocado must be more expensive than turkey?? (not sure what that says about the quality of the turkey) Anyway, when I got home with the sandwiches and we opened them up, the turkey seemed OK - not worth almost $8 but my son said it tasted good, so, I was fine with that. But our veggie sandwiches were pathetic. I had forgotten they came with avocado until I got to the end and I finally tasted some. My wife's sandwich had ZERO avocado. I called and asked to speak with the manager (Tricia). I reported that her sandwich had no avocado, and said that I assumed it was the avocado that made the sandwich so expensive. She did not comment. She did not apologize. All she said was, "If you want to come back in, I can give you a new sandwich." I said, "I'm not calling to get another sandwich. I'm calling to let you know the people you have making your sandwiches are not doing a good job." She did not say "thank you," she did not apologize. She just said, "OK". Horrible management skills. I...
Read moreOrdered 2 sandwiches on crossiants, a grilled cheese, bread bowl, and tomato soup to go. They made everything but the crossiants were fresh out of the oven so they couldn't cut them to make the sandwiches. They offered to make them on the regular bread which I agreed to because I didn't want my daughter's grilled cheese to be cold and soggy by the time I got home. I get to the car and realize they didn't give me the tomato soup so I had to go back while they figured out whether or not they gave it to me. Meanwhile, everything else is getting colder and the grilled sandwich soggier. I finally get home and realize that the sandwiches can't be switched to the crossiants because the avocado is spread all over the bread not to mention that both crossiants combined were not large enough to fit one of the sandwich makings on. It only cost me $53 and 1 hour of my life in total. I gave them 2 stars because the food was okay, but really not that great. All four of us agreed that the food was okay, not worth $30, much less $53, especially considering the issues I had to deal with. Definitely won't ever...
