First visit to this location in Roseville, and Myah was the only bright spot of the visit, trying hard to bridge the obvious gaps. One such gap was the cleanliness of the restaurant and booth we occupied that had a thick layer of filth on the surface. We used our own sanitizer and one of our napkins to attempt to remove the filth and scum from our booth table surface. Myah apologized as she returned to take our order, and offered to remove the filthy caked napkin...somewhat defeated as if this was not a rare occurrence. Our choices from the menu were reduced by almost 50%, with page after page (note photos) of menu items covered by a sticky label that read "Out of Stock." When we asked Myah what was going on, as we've NEVER encountered anything like this at another Denny's, she responded with an an matter of fact..."It's out of Stock." A flat statement her manager in all likelihood told her to say. There is simply no excuse for this, and the manager should be hung up by his or her thumbs, and then booted out the door!! The owner of this franchise is losing money hand over fist with many probably simply walking out of the restaurant when there is such a limited option to order. The food we finally received was average at best, and during the bulk of our visit the cooks were huddled around the bar area in front of the kitchen checking their phones, and talking to each other in spanish. To say someone is asleep at the wheel for this Denny's location, is the most generous assessment I can offer. If corporate oversight and intervention is an option, it should be closed and everyone should be retrained. Establishing a new management team is the most obvious solution to affect long-lasting change, so customers receive the experience they deserve. I do not recommend visiting this restaurant, unless you are hankering for...

I was staying very close to this location. It looked nice enough so I stopped over after a late night at work. The lights were on, the door was locked and a sign on the door said they had no help.
Second Visit - Stopped in. A very lovely waitress seated us. She was the only person working besides the cook. She was the hostess, cashier, busser, server, and was handling all the takeout orders. Service was obviously slow although she did her absolute best and was apologizing the whole time. The food was not prepared very well and is very pricey for what you get.
Third visit - The restaurant was very busy. We were seated by the same lovely server and she was once again alone. She told us the cook was brand new and in training. We should have turned around and left at that point. During our 2 hour stay we watched as a dozen people came in for takeout that wasn't made. The server ended up in the kitchen cooking and trying to keep the "cook" from melting down. Orders were being remade 3 and 4 times. We didn't get what we ordered but gave up as it was the middle of the night. Eventually another woman showed up but was only bussing tables. After a while she told people coming in that they were no longer seating people due to no staff.
I feel terrible for the staff that tried their absolutely hardest. This place should not be open if they don't have enough staff. The other reviews and complaints from the former staff...
Read moreIf I could give it zero stars I would. We had 2-3 servers and it seemed no one communicated with each other. We waited about 45+ minutes for our meals and it wasnt even busy. One of my sons cried because he was so hungry. Eventually one waitress brought out half the tables food and two seconds later a different one came and asked how everything was tasting...as we were still waiting on an entire meal plus gold fish for my son, banana slices for my other son and syrup for my daughter's pancakes. All the while my drink has been empty for 25 minute and no one acknowledged us. We saw two family's walk out because they waited over 30 minutes without being acknowledged as well. My burger finally came once my family was done with there food and it was in pieces. Almost as if, the cook accidentally flipped the burger too soon and thought "who cares. Serve it anyway" I picked it up and it came crumbling out. All of our food was severed barely even warm but my husband and daughters pancakes were burnt. Cold and burnt. Yum. Apparently, our food was being severed separately because she wanted to serve hot chicken nuggets to my son's. They felt like they were sitting on the counter for about 5-10 minutes. I guess bananas and goldfish were late because....i honestly don't have a clue. I looked over at the cook and he looked like he HATED his job. He was slow and careless. He was lazy and miserable. No one seemed to care that all the customers were pissed off. Apparently an employee quit during their shift. They need to hire all new employees. Probably new management too. Worst...
