Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Roseville

Good quality food, nice people. My only issue is that sometimes when I order by phone/online instead of in-person, my order isn't always made correctly (i.e. asked for no cheese, ends up having cheese) & my sandwich is made more sloppily, so they seem to take more care when you're standing in front of them. Also, idk if they use oil to cook with (which would be unnecessary on a flat top grill instead of a skillet, since meats & veggies have their own natural grease/water they'll expel during the cooking process) but I've noticed lately the sandwiches have been extra greasy, like SOAKED with grease, even with just veggies & no meat. I wish I could order a sandwich & say "hold the grease" because it's a lot. Someone please tell them to lay off the oil, or at least wipe up grease between orders. I could soak at least 3 paper towels in grease from ONE sandwich. (Maybe they spray water, but that will still create more grease as the food cooks in the water). Leaving my review at 4 stars tho, because this wasn't a problem before, & I'm sure they have new ppl still learning. Earlier today at 2 I picked up my mobile order which was supposed to consist of a sandwich, the chips and soda deal and a butterscotch krumpet 3 pk. I was in a huge hurry so I didn't stop to check my order. Well I wasn't actually able to dig into my food for another hour and a half so I didn't notice til then only half my order, the sandwich and soda was in the bag. I honestly figured because such time had lapsed that they would tell me to take a hike. But I called and talked to a nice gentleman, Brandon, and he was so nice and he assured me that they would make it right and he gave me a few options. We settled on one and I thanked him and he apologized and then thanked me for being understanding. That was nice. I am HUGE on good, friendly customer service so that was awesome of him. I'm not a "you better make this right" kind of customer but I do look for friendliness and a simple "I'm sorry about that" when a mistake is made. I definitely got that. I was born in Point Pleasant and have been to the original and I've been to a few other Jersey Mikes in California since they have opened some stores out here and this store is one of the worst. It is a glorified Subway, cheap on everything. You see those pictures, well their subs look nothing like those pictures. I've been to this location twice and both times the subs were not very good. The first time the bread was not fresh and was kind of hard. The sub I got from both visits barely had any toppings, maybe there were a few pieces of onions on it. I had to search for them because you could not tell. There was hardly any lettuce on it, a typical Jersey mikes sub does not skimp on these topping and if anything you have to ask for them to go light, well this location, you would swear there was a huge shortage on lettuce and onions, I guess at least they still covered it length wise with tomatoes. Overall, I was really disappointed in the quality of the sub at this location. Other locations are better than this one.
