How many totals are out there wondering?!
We noticed this charge when got home. We called 1st time, they were rude and not helpful trying to avoid talking about it and pretending they don't know what we're talking about, they said we can email them through the website, even though I asked if I can send them an image of the receipt as a text but she said they can't get it. We called again and explained that there's no way allows us to send through the site, then a miracle happened and the girl said I can text to the number I'm calling, the number that wasn't receiving in the beginning! When asked her about the charge, another miracle happened she said the extra charge was for the credit card. I asked, why don't you notify your customers before paying and why don't you specify it on the receipt instead of the shady way of charging it? She said they do and it's posted at the cash register behind their bar which is far from my table like at least 20ft and Which they're the only people who can see it when they take your card to run it while you still at your table! What a joke?! Then she said it's the system and they have no control not to charge it! What a stupid and fool excuse?! We have a businesses and we know how the system operates? I requested a refund, she said it's up to the owner that she will inform him with my message which I still didn't hear from.
VERY SHADY OWNERSHIP! In regard to food! It's a very mediocre food establishment and the chicken on their pizza...
Read moreWe arrived, where told we would wait for 10-15 min. Ended up waiting 27 min. Once seated, no one approached us for 11 min. Once they finally came, it was to offer water and than we waited and additional 6 min for waitress Mary T to come say hi, told us she would only take the drinks and come back for the order of the food even though we where ready, came back 4 min later. We ordered one pizza and an order of starter wings for my pregnant wife and I to share. A couple that sat 9 min after us got their food before us, at the at the 23 min mark I started to look bothered and asked what was going on. Mary had no answer, left and came back 6 min later bringing the pizza, and told us there was a mix up and if we still wanted the wings, we would have to wait another 10 to 15 min. At this point I was pretty upset and due to my wife being pregnant I decided we should wait the extra time because it would take more time walking out and getting food somewhere else. Mary then brought the wing 5 min later. And didn’t bring the dressing, she disappeared so I had to flag someone else down. When it comes to the food, completely over rated. The pizza wasn’t good and the wings where dry, perhaps because they cooked them for so long or perhaps because I was so upset but really, not good at all. They did not comp anything after this horrible service. Brought us the check, everything looked good, when I got up to pay because no one was collecting the card, they charged me for an additional beer that was not mine, so look out, they might be getting people like that. At this point I just wanted to leave, yet, they had me wait to refund the beer. Needless to say I will never go back...
Read moreI’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Red’s. I originally wanted to place a takeout order, but after calling seven times with no answer—the phone didn’t even ring and went straight to voicemail—I decided to dine in instead.
When we arrived, we were seated fairly quickly, as the restaurant wasn’t very busy—several tables were empty, and it was just the two of us. We were seated at 8:53 PM, but it took about 10 minutes before anyone came by to take our drink order. By that time, we were already ready to order, so we placed our full order: a Caesar salad and a Chef’s Favorite pizza.
The salad took 20 minutes to arrive. After finishing it, we waited another 20 minutes before I finally asked the manager to check on our pizza. She responded, “The salads come out before the pizza,” to which I explained that our salad had already been out for 20 minutes. She went to check and informed us that our pizza was “next in line” and would be out in seven minutes. That was at 9:41 PM. The pizza actually arrived at 9:58 PM—17 minutes later, not seven.
While the pizza itself was delicious, the service was incredibly disappointing. Not once did anyone check in on us, and there was no apology for the long wait. I had to ask for everything myself. I would be more understanding if the restaurant had been busy, but that wasn’t the case. Unfortunately, the poor service overshadowed what could have been a great dining experience. This is not the first time I have experienced missing food here, but at least the first time...
