(See below for update) For that Hibachi dining experience this is about as good as gets out here in NWI. The chefs are great and are a lot of fun. The rest of the staff is great and try to make the experience worth while. The food prepared at the Hibachi Bar is cooked just how you like it and is really something different to try. The drinks prepared at the bar aren’t the best but still good. After-all, you’re not there for the bar per se. for the price you get what you pay for. They serve you a lot of food. You should have leftovers by the time you’re done at dinner. I would say my only real disappointment with this establishment is it’s not a very clean place, and is a tad bit out dated. They see, from what I’ve seen, plenty of people every night. I hope they can do some updating at the location soon. Overall it’s a worthwhile experience once you move past the the minor lack of cleanliness, along with the outdated interior and exterior. Edit: Since this review, I have gone once more and was thoroughly disappointed. The quality of food and cleanliness has taken an absolute nosedive. It’s sad to see such a nice place fall into disarray. I would recommend taking my business elsewhere.

I would say this is a gimmick-y place to go - but also decent for a large group and entertaining if you have never been. The atmosphere in here is very unique - you even cross over a bridge over a Koi pond when you go into the main restaurant. Prepare yourself for a TON of food. You should NOT go hungry. The prices HAVE increased through the years, therefore it's NOT cheap. I would pass on the cocktails - they are pretty watered down and fancy, but expensive. Also - appetizers are decent, but you already receive SO MUCH FOOD with your meal - don't overdo it...unless you MUST have that sushi! The food again is prepared LIVE in front of you on an extremely HOT grill and the chefs are entertaining but decent enough to cook your steak how you like it. The wait staff is also pretty attentive and everytime we would finish the last drop of our soda, another one replaced it. So that was cool. Definitely try if you like hibachi style food and entertainment - don't be shy - nothing to embarrass you here. Enjoy the food - prepare to bring some home!

Yummy as always 😋 but not too happy that they now add on 18% to all checks mandatory I always tip a lot more than that but if a restaurant adds a tip in before I even sit down to eat it hits me the wrong way I can see if I had a big party but for 2 people I am insulted, also parties of 6 or more get charged more than 18% kind of wrong either way! So that being said my server can thank management and whoever came up with this new hair brain idea because he lost out on a much better tip than he got I don't believe in rewarding some one for a service I have not received and again I find it insulting that they think I would not reward someone for a job well done

Stephanie was a horrible server. The chef was great & the food was great. Our family always stops at the House of Kobe on our way home from Florida to finish off our vacation. Our daughters are always excited to come to the House of Kobe for the exciting experience. This time the service from our waitress was very poor & did not make the experience very enjoyable. Stephanie (if she gave us the correct name, middle aged woman with long dark blonde hair) was very rude & rushed us through our entire time there. When she came to take our order she acted annoyed & rushed us through ordering. I have a daughter with a gluten allergy & I asked her if they have any gluten free options. Her response was “I know nothing about gluten”. She did not offer to find out if they have anything gluten free & seemed annoyed that I even asked her. Then immediately after the chef was done cooking our food the server laid boxes out on the table even though we just began to eat. A few minutes after that while we were still eating the server comes out to ask our children what ice cream they want that comes with their kids meals. My daughter with the allergies did not get a kids meal since there was gluten in all the meals. I went to order her an ice cream & the server rudely says “she did not get a kids meal” and skips over her. She did not offer for me to buy her an ice cream separately from the meal. On top of this she gave all of my other daughters ice cream while they just began to eat their meals. Of course at that point all the kids jumped to dessert & didn’t finish their meals. Then she brought the check right over. Now we have full plates of food, ice cream, boxes, & the check all on the table. The server then keeps walking by hovering over our table trying to get us to pay. When we didn’t put the money out right away she sent a male server over to ask if we were ready to pay. We gave the money to the male server. We boxed up our food & walked to our car, as we were walking out I see our server & the male server in a car & our server had a sweater covering her window & it looked very suspicious whatever they were doing in the vehicle. This was by far the worst server I have ever had at a restaurant & this will be the last year we stop here on our way back from our family vacation. It is sad that customer service can...

We usually go to Hamada but came to house of kobe because everyone recommended them for birthday celebrations and my twins asked for hibachi on their birthday. I informed them we did not eat meat. I had to repeat myself at least 5 times. The worst of it was when the chef grabbed a raw (yes raw and dripping) chicken breast and held it over my sons plate, in his face, asking if he wanted a bite. I had to wipe the raw chicken juice off my sons plate. At this point I was disgusted and felt he was mocking us. The chef ignored my 8 year Olds questions even though he knew it was their birthday. He acted like they werent speaking at all the entire experience. He then put shrimp on my kids plates after I said so many times we did not eat meat and our vegetables hibachi was not even supposed to come with shrimp. And finally after my kids asked for him to launch the food into their mouth and he ignored them, he decided to do it with the shrimp instead of veggies. Also there was no mention of any birthday even though we told the host when I called and made the reservation, the chef, and the server multiple times. I do not know how this place has a reputation for great birthdays and don't expect perfection being a vegetarian, but I do expect a chef to notice when a family drops over 100$ on only vegetables that maybe we didn't want meat, and if he couldn't I told him only about 5 times. Our experience was stressful and my oldest wouldn't touch her plate. It felt liked we were mocked the entire time for not liking meat when people who don't want mushrooms or something and no one makes fun of them. On my children's birthday of all things. We will not be back. Hamada is way better food wise, show wise, and they don't need to be reminded to respect our dietary needs that we...

Have been dining here for years and have always had a great experience until last night. We dined in the Sushi bar/room as we always do. Sat for a minimum of 10 minutes as the waitress walked by multiple times, not once did she acknowledge us, provide menus or take our drink order. At one point I tried to wave her down and still nothing. The dining room was full, however, good customer service would be; at the very minimum acknowledge your guest or ask management for help...her response as she was visiting the table next to us for the 2-3 time and noticed we were growing frustrated "I am the only one back here, I am busy, they were here before you" She was beyond rude and certainly not what I would expect from this establishment. I could understand if we all sat down at the same time but these folks had already received their meals and her visits were follow up, one would think she would stop at our table (as she literally was standing right there) and either provide a simple "I am swamped, so sorry, Ill be right with you" or "hey folks, what can I grab you to drink" We ended up walking out. She needs to find another line of work and the management needs to better monitor their staff and provide additional waiters/waitress on busy...
