Absolutely horrible food and service tonight! I wouldn't even give this place 1 star but, you can't have a review without at least one! Let me start off with that I NEVER complain and I always tip well. And I totally understand that the servers can have rough jobs and dealing with the public is sometimes hard... BUT this was disgusting! The dippable veggies were old and disgusting looking, the zucchini and squash that was the other side ordered wasn't even close to being done; wasn't even warm! The waitress we had was so slow, we has to wait over 15 min for our check after we were clearly done eating. Mind you, they were not even close to being busy! There was another waitress waiting on a table close by that was clearly irritated with the guests at that table, as she kept rolling her eyes everytime she turned around for all of the other guests to see. Then we they left, she proceeded to talk nasty about them to the people in the booth behind them! Again, everyone around her could hear her! How did she not know that I nor anyone else didn't know the people she was talking about?!?! When I showed the mgr the plate of old nasty, browning, dried up, and mushy veggies, he agreed that it shouldn't have ever made it out to the table. He did say he was sorry and made a slight adjustment to our bill but that wasn't what I was looking for! I can only hope he would talk to these girls about manners and presentation of the food they bring our to their customers! I have never been so appalled! I wish there was a way to upload the photo of the veggies that were brought out...

Upon entering is was clear, like many restaurants and businesses, they were short staffed. They were also super busy, with many larger parties of students, families etc. The very nice girl checking people out as we walked in, told us to find a seat and she would be right w us. She was right w us, she took our drink order, gave us menus and silverware and went to take care of some other guests. She came back, took our orders, kept the drinks coming and checked in on us several times. I also overheard her checking in w the kitchen on a few of our items, all the time keeping a kind and respectful tone of voice. I also observed that Dennys probably had a very busy evening, based on the at the atmosphere in general. However the entire time we were there, I never heard an employee complain or sigh or be disrespectful of each other or to any of the patrons. Everyone especially our waitress, spoke in a kind, mannerly tone and worked as a team. I was very impressed, as these were clearly the younger staff members, wrapping up the closing shift. They kept busy setting up and refilling things for the next day, kept cleaning up and hustling around. I made sure to personally tell the manager, Wayne I believe, as who knows who may or may not see a review. I think it was commendable that the staff worked together and didnt let the stress of a busy shift overwhelm them or affect good customer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI work night shift, and I try to get food late. Dennys is the only thing open in the area. The night crew, CONSISTENTLY, will screw with you. You'll call, if you even get anybody, they put you on hold because theyre "busy" - then after 5-10 minutes you give up and try to call back. The call fails. I show up in person, there is 2 customers in the entire store, and the phone, on the front desk, is off the hook. This is FAR from the first time this happens. It happens more often than I can actually successfully order food. It's a girl that does it, a younger dude too, they all do the same thing. I am done trying to give dennys business. Ive tried telling corporate about it, and nothing at all changes. I drive 30 minutes to go to dennys and cant even order food. Theyre sitting outside smoking, tell us that "our grill is down for cleaning right now" i ask ok so how long you think? "About an hour or two" like ok it takes an hour or two to clean a grill? Waffle house does it in 5 minutes. I can do it for you in 3... As somebody who works in food myself, i wouldve been fired LONG AGO if i was pulling this crap. Somebody needs to shape up this store's service. At least on the off chance that you can get through to place any order at all, at least the food's...
