⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Unforgettable Family Meal – Thanks to Marissa and an Amazing Menu!
Our family of four recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful restaurant, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences we've had in a long time. From the warm ambiance to the outstanding service, everything about our visit was absolutely top-notch.
From the start, we were greeted with a genuine smile and seated quickly. Our waitress, Marissa, was truly exceptional. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and attentive — the kind of server who makes you feel like family the moment she greets you. She was especially great with our two kids, which made the experience all the more enjoyable for us as parents.
Now let’s talk about the food — wow. Everyone left with full bellies and big smiles.
My husband ordered the steak and potatoes, and it was a hit. The steak was perfectly cooked — juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. The potatoes were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and seasoned just right. But what really made his meal was the strawberry milkshake he ordered on the side. Thick, creamy, and full of real strawberry flavor — it was so good we all ended up sneaking sips when he wasn’t looking!
I decided to go with a hearty breakfast plate: fluffy pancakes, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, and golden hashbrowns. Every single item was cooked to perfection. The pancakes were soft and warm, the eggs were light and fluffy, the bacon had just the right amount of crunch, and the hashbrowns were crispy and flavorful. It was comforting, satisfying, and absolutely delicious.
Our son went with a classic kid-favorite — chicken tenders and mac & cheese — and he cleaned his plate! The chicken was crunchy and tender inside, while the mac & cheese was creamy, cheesy, and made with care (no boxed taste here!).
Our daughter was over the moon with her adorable plate of smiley-faced pancakes topped with strawberries and whipped cream. The pancakes were just the right size for her, and the cheerful design had her grinning from ear to ear. She loved every bite, and Marissa even brought her an extra little cup of whipped cream on the side, which absolutely made her day.
Throughout the meal, Marissa checked on us regularly without ever being intrusive. She kept our drinks filled, brought extra napkins before we had to ask, and made sure our kids were happy and comfortable. Her energy and professionalism made the entire dining experience smooth and relaxed — exactly what every family hopes for when eating out.
By the end of the meal, we were already talking about when we’d come back. This wasn’t just dinner — it was a memory, and Marissa played a huge part in making it so special.
If you're looking for a family-friendly restaurant with amazing food, top-tier service, and a warm, welcoming vibe, this is the place to go. And if you’re lucky enough to be served by Marissa, you’re in for an even better experience.
Five stars all the way — we’ll definitely...
Read moreAtmosphere--despite being mostly empty, it was loud & unpleasant, due to servers that don't have an indoor voice, and their friends/family hanging out and allowing their toddler to scream. Service--slow. Couldn't even pay attention while we were ordering. I never got a coffee refill, and the coffee cups might be 6oz if filled to the top. Didn't get our order right, but didn't stick around to hear about it, either. More on service in the food section... Food--terrible. I asked for bacon, but got sausage links. My husband wanted sunny side up, he got mostly still raw with yolks broken. The server said, "the yolks broke is that ok?" He said it was fine and I said I'll settle for sausage. But then we both tried the sausage and realized it was spoiled. We put it off our plates and on a saucer at the edge of the table. When the server finally came to present our check, she said, "how was everything?" I told her the sausage was spoiled. She said, "oh. Do you want something else?" Our meal was done, or at least we were. So she takes our ticket and walks away, then returns and tells us she removed my cup of coffee from the bill to compensate for the spoiled food. Whatever, we hadn't asked for anything. She really did not care and I'm sure they continued to serve that sausage because she never said anything to the kitchen. So we paid our $40+ bill for some pancakes, French toast, hash browns and a glass of milk and left. Within the hour we were both sick with gastrointestinal issues, it had to have number that nasty sausage.
That was the last time I will ever set foot in a Denny's. I've tried four different Denny's in four different towns and each has had its own terrible traits. What used to be a reliably predictable place to get a sit down breakfast has turned into an apathetic, lackluster, overpriced disaster. Never another...
